Nope mine works fine.

Mine does the double tone as well while on a call. But never had an automated system mistake the double tone. I found that if you turn the in call volume down a couple notches then the double tone goes away.

Did you happen to be on speakerphone when this occurred???

You may want to consider disabling the audible touch tones when you use the dialer.

I had it happen on a jrummy rom, The Shiz I think. All numbers worked great except zero. I would always get double zeros when using automated systems.

I was using my plugged in headset. Would disabling the audible tones make a difference? but ill give it a try.

Went through 3 batteries today, needless to say I'm less than pleased and perplexed at my dilemma.

I went through all the standard stuff trying to find the culprit, nothing seemed to really stand out. Yesterday I did a kernal change, seemed a bit better after setting SetCPU up, but today I was at 80% by the time I got to work, and down to 40% in another 2 hours, with little or no use. Battery swap before lunch, and then on to battery 3 by 4:00 and was at 40% on that one when I got home.

After lunch I was doing some pretty hard use trying to troubleshoot the issue to no avail. has anyone experienced battery drains like this at all?
Shoot I have the best battery life ever with this ROM.
I know that some apps don't work well with 2.2 and cause battery drain.
I know facebook 1.3 was the main one
Some task killers and a few I can't remember was found to cause battery drain problems.
I am running at stock 550MHz for max and min of 125MHz.
I disable the CPU freq scaling in the Gem settings and use SetCPU with profiles enabled instead.
Played 3 albums straight all the way through.
I have had my phone on for 22h 22m and it just hit 60%.

holy crap HOW MUCH ARE YOU USING THE PHONE?? I would die for that battery life...and what are your profiles exactly if you don't mind me asking?

I can not get a similar result to his no matter what I do - juice defender, SetCPU profiles. DON"T GET ME WRONG - my battery life on this ROM is far better than I have experienced in the past. Yesterday after a fairly normal day of use for me I was at 50% at 8 hours and 25 minutes, which I think is great. BUT, 22 hours at 60% is UNREAL!!

I can't get quite that, but I can go 24 hours between charges and I'll be down around 40%. During the week my phone sleeps most of the time.

i can't take my hands off the stupid thing to be honest, but days where I'm extracted by other activities like watching a movie I could get maybe like 11 hours of battery life. lol. I guess since I'm out of school now I have more time on my hands so i'm playing with my phone more...I can't help it. It's strange.. XD
