[Home Replacement App] Sweeter Home public Beta is out!!

Does anyone have any idea when this will be updated/released to the market? at least an update?

Yeah, I was just playing around and edited the bottom page to create shortcuts ect. It seams great and powerful, but seams a bit of a clustf*** in the editor... seams like they need to put some work into the editor to make it a bit more friendly.

Definitely agreed on that one, while you do get used to it; I have a feeling it puts off a lot of potential new users lol
 
well i found that if you go into edit and hit any box then long press on the screen you get a list of all yur tagged trays ... you can click on one and it brings it to the top. so if you put all tagged trays as layer 1 you can make a lot more custom trays.
 
Ok, here's what I've been working on the past couple days. I'm pretty proud of the functionality of it (I know the graphics need work). The first picture is what I see when I turn my phone on... basically just my background, a big phone button, and a couple arrows at the side. When you click either of those arrows, it displays the sliders shown in the 2nd picture. Both sliders work independently of each other. One can be open while the other is closed. I wish I could actually make a slide out animation instead of them just appearing, but oh well. Any of the buttons on those sliders opens a group that fills the home screen with apps I've chosen. You can see that in the 3rd picture, where my "Web" screen is displayed. 3 apps and a few favorites, and of course my favorite apps block that appears at the top of most screens. In the 4th picture you can see there are additional buttons that appear when you close the slider. I am in the process of creating graphics for them to make them actually fit into the theme. Right now they are just black rectangles but the functionality is in place.

Whenever any of the slider buttons (SMS, Web, etc.) is pressed, whatever was on the screen is hidden so the new screen takes over. So in other words if I have my SMS screen on, then go into the slider on the right and select my Games screen, the SMS screen is closed not just covered up by the Games screen.

As always, comments and criticisms are very welcome.

EDIT: It is on the theme market, called "Bullets".

I am having a lot if FC's (a lot)
The theme has multi screens with Custom, Tagged, and System,trays so there is a lot going on
I get FC's every 30 or so....

Any direction, what is going on, where to look, anyone can offer me?

Does the theme use images? Sometimes that can overload the phone if the images aren't optimize. If not the only other reason I have is that it's Beta lol...
 
This program is sweet but I'm hesitant to use it because of one problem..when i press the home button while on any one of the homescreens to return to the middle, it goes to a blank screen for 1-2 seconds. I tried a bunch of skins and same thing for all of them. Anyone know a fix?

Unfortunately that seems to be a norm for many home replacement apps. It's just lag...while it's not particularly damaging it's highly irritating. I'm not sure if there is a user fix, I think it has to do with optimizing the code.

Is it my theme that is doing that to you? I have a TON of stuff going on (probably 20-30 items on that one screen), but it's still relatively stable for me.

Just make sure you log a bug report when this happens. The Dev has closed about 30 bugs right now and is still working. I just got a private update and I'm testing widgets now (buying beautiful since most people seem to use that) to check that it's updating ok.
