How to correctly unroot the Incredible

Hey guys, need some help.

I rooted my phone back in September and I may sell it so I'm trying to unroot. I did unrevoked3, and I have S-On. Other than that I haven't changed anything but I'm running Virtuous v3.1.0.

I'm trying to follow this guide but my phone won't recognize the PB31IMG file, even though it's on the root of my SD card. My card is formatted for FAT32 as well.

I'm trying the second option, I get "RUU_Incredible_C_Froyo_VERIZON_WWE_3.26.605.1_Rad io_2.15.00.07.28_2k4k_NV_1.70_PRL58006_release_152 016_signed.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

I'm on a mac and i'm attempting to do this on my mom's dell and have been for awhile, just no luck. help?

thanks guys.

I saw your post on IF, will be helping you there.

One more question. Do i need to put the file to get s-on on my SD card, flash it, reboot the phone, put the PB31IMG file on my SD card, then flash it again. Or can I put them both on my SD card at the same time and do it all in one fell swoop?

Flash S-on, then delete the file from your SD card or your phone will continue to flash s-on. You can put the PB31img on your SD card at the same time as s-on or at the time you delete the s-on file.

Ok, little help needed. Few facts:

Rooted phone yesterday
Installed CM7 - loved it
Like personalizing so searched for another ROM to install
Backed up current ROM
Installed new (can't remember which!!! Ugh)
Downloaded fine
Clicked to clear cache and reboot to apply ROM
Rebooted and now I have a pretty "screensaver" with colored lines that come into center and make "X"

That's IT. Now my phone won't do anything. Things I've tried and gotten nowhere:
Push power button (Short to unlock)
Long press power
Power and volume down button
Remove and replace battery (battery was fully charged when I started)
Swipe all over screen
Press optical button

I've read the instructions on unrooting and I'm clearly either too frustrated to get it, or a moron for not just leaving well enough alone. Probably a combo of both! =(

Help please?

I had 2.2 on my device, than i rooted using unrevoked, than installed couple gingerbread ota also Black Droid, than went back to 2.2, than tried to unroot using PB31IMG, downgrading my phone worked just fine but it does not get automatics updates anymore.
Try to update my phone manually which didn't worked (says: action aborted) I do know how to update manually (its easy).
I not even can install a new update, no way for it!
What can i do to get automatics updates? Any ideas? Should i try a new method? Which one?
Thanks all you in advance and hope here i can have my phone back to normal again.
