HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

This the fourth thread I have read trying to follow the TB release and I have learned that Verizon doesn't always release on Thursdays and they don't always pre-announce. Is the date on the phone in the commercial a mere coincidence picked out of nowhere weeks or months ago when it was filmed? Or was it itentionally chosen to coincide with the real release. Some say there are no coincidences.

St. Patrick would never allow a thunderbolt phone to be released on the 17th.. He wants you to drink green beer aand sing Irish songs.

He's my source so sorry. Not on the 17th.

P.S. - The 17th is St. Patricks day and BMX wrote a poem that indicated the TB would be release on that date.

How long ago was that poem written though, things can easily change.
One can only hope though, we need the rain.

Actually, wasn't it black panda who wrote that poem?

Same person.

This thread is fizzling out... I get hearing an echo :P

which is slightly a good thing because I'm hoping that means we're near the end of the tunnel

we have a winner!! that is the final time I will speak about this device until after release..

at which time I will of course do as I always have and help those that buy it to fully enjoy it and the LTE network that is powering some of the amazing things people will do on this device.

as for the toggle, it depends on what testing firmware you are running some devices do and some dont... retail units will have it either through built in or app installed..

its been real... See you all after launch..

That kind of implies soon, no?

The Verizon website has too, for quite a while.

seeing as bmx's latest tweets are basically saying "prepare to wait for a while" I'm betting yet another 1 million space bucks that we wont see an announcement today, much less thursday. I mean, they have to finish prepping their new tiered data plans afterall, so they can figure how much well pay for LTE. I would be willing to pay 40 a month for data IF it was unlimited, but ive got the feeling there will be no unlimited on this puppy so its a wait and see game now.
