ICS Battery life

Hi all. I just got a maxx about 3 weeks ago and Im wondering if you guys can answer some questions for me. I charge my phone at night while I sleep. Usually from 10pm til 6am when I take it off the charger to go to work. During the day it is mainly off. I turn it on every so often to answer txts and during my lunch and break I turn it on to play games usually totalling 45 min. After work I listen to music while I am at the gym about an hour to and hour and a half. After that there is random use through the rest of the day. By the time I go to bed at around 10pm its down to below 40 usually around 30. Is this good or should I be getting better. I moved from an old dummy phone to this being my first smart phone so I am curious.

Do you use Smart Actions? I take mine off the charger at 6:30 am and put it bck on each nite around 10:30pm , and I'm at 70% and I leave my phone on all day at work on 4G and wifi at home. Smart Actions help me a lot.

Fwiw.....2 days since the fdr and cache clear and my battery life is back to normal. Wow! That really made a big difference...

Ok my system version is 6.16.211 Im geussing that is what you are refering to. How would I upgrade that?

I went 19 hours on the first charge before it dropped to 20%. That was with moderate use browsing, calls, etc. I'm going to shut her doen anf train the battery meter next. I was missing my battery life!

My battery life has improved significantly after installiing .215 doing battery meter training, and setting up smart actions.

How long was the screen on tho? Can u click screen and find out? Like 10hrs or like 5?

I would hope beckaramos doesn't spend 10 hours on her phone in just a day... That would be more than your typical work day looking at your phone.

Lol what? On my first 3 days on. 215, downloading a load of documents and gonna get about 7 hours of on screen time on my first real charge...i think thats pretty good. How much on screen time can people seriously do on there phones without destroying there eyes...
