ICS on the MAXX

First full day on ICS.

Moderate use, GPS, navigation, maps, reinstalling a few apps, surfing the web, checking email.


Almost 13 hours later I have 50% battery.
Of course I am following Foxcat's advice plus I did a factory reset prior to updating.

Amazing phones and the battery..... I'm 26 hours into this charge 4G/WiFi/ phone/watching videos trying to mget it down to 15% . I'm still at 40%

I love everything about my phone just wish I could get my smooth as silk scroll back. Trying to scroll screens (like on Google news) it's like it's in syrup.

You can change the speed by going to
Settings>language& input> pointer speed

Open the stock browser> menu key> settings> accessibility> inverted rendering

Anyone having an issue with photos not loading sometimes? Like here on the forums it will not load profile pictures or other pictures like screenshots that people post. It does load sometimes, just wondering if this is a known issue or my data connection sucks

There are others, myself included, that have mentioned the problem with pics and avatars not loading on DF. For me, it actually started happening a few weeks before ICS. To solve the problem, I go into DF settings and clear image cache. It is only a temporary fix. I have to do that each time I open DF on order to get all avatars and pics.

Where is 'df' settings located? I've noticed the image loading problem also.

Hi there, I have just registered after reading this thread for an hour.

I have received my maxx yesterday and wanted to ask you all:

What is the percentage of your power demand of your display?

I am getting bad battery life, it lasts about a day, even if I dont use it very much. I did a FDR. I toggled the display brightness to minimum and it still soaks my battery with ~60%.

Is this normal?
