And, besides the fact that it's coming at some point, it's the only official news from Verizon on ICS for the RAZR/MAXX.

We're not making a big deal about it by no means... everyone here, including myself, is itching to get their hands on ICS. According to the Motorola timetable ICS will be out by the end of the 2nd quarter. Which is just about 2 1/2 weeks away till that time. No specific date has been given, but Verizon wouldn't be sending out these alerts if it wasn't coming within the next couple of weeks. I think in order for them to send out this type of alert they would have had to have heard from Motorola as well. Its all just speculations yes, but everything is falling into place as suggested by the Moto timetable.

Someone posted a comment on mobile bloom news stating that the Verizon support page posted a date of 6/18 as to when they are going to push the update. Has anyone else seen this bc i'm calling BS.

There is only one thing that we know for sure relative to ICS and the Razr/Maxx, some folks have received messages saying their device would be receiving an update "Soon".

WhenI was at the Verizon store yesterday to get my new Maxx, there was a rep at the store talking about getting ICS on his company phone this week and that other store employees were getting it this coming week. He said that they want to be trained on it for a week or so before the big release on June 28th :icon_ lala:. I know they say a lot of things but this guy seemed to know what he was talking about. He would not show me his phone though. :frown:

They often "seem to know" what they're talking about. But in actuality, the people on these forums know more about the updates than pretty much every rep out there.
