Not sure if anyone else had seen this...Moto on Facebook just claimed to be starting the ics push today, and bionic will ALSO GET JELLYBEAN IN UPCOMING MONTHS... I swear I just read it!! Here's the link from the fb post

Thanks for HoB and Samuri I was able to load 246 even though the OTA update failed. All my apps have been optimized but like others, I'm stuck on updating media database. My battery was about 80% when I started, 30 min into it I plugged the phone in. Hopefully my battery doesn't die!!! I have a 32 gig SD and it's almost full of music!!!!!!

I was just ribbing you a little. I'm glad moto has come out and said "YES, it's happening." Sarge showed us info this morning that proved the JB patch is in 246 and this is the other side of it...Moto making the commitment. This awesome.

*NOOOOOOOO*. I already said they are identical. MD5 matches. Same build date. Moto slipped the JB patch in there WAY back on the 19th of Sept. Sarge confirmed that today. But, having the patch is one thing, making the commitment to actually put the JB release out there was the other side I was waiting for. They've done that. Moto is impressing the hell out of me right now. And thank Sarge for the info on the patch.

i have a razr and when i got the ICS update, i had to do a FDR after to get things to work right. i couldnt send texts or anything.

I'll second this. I did an FDR with my Razr and it made a huge improvement.

I thought they were the same. I just didn't remember *back then* the JB patch being talked about for 246. Then again if Sarge just said it had it then I guess no one would be talking about back then.

It wasn't talked about for 246. It was for 247. This surprised everyone. Sarge had to go get confirmation and he did. Moto slipped it in there.
