After a backup of course, did 3 wipes and a clean install and the oddity I experienced was no weather updates, not on the Genie widget or Beautiful widgets. Did a restore and load of 0.7.0 over 0.6.2 and things are working great. Not sure what happened on the clean load, although I didn't try it more than once, probably just an oddity, but figured I'd mention.

Filed a bug id #50 about certain apps not able to access the GPS. Google Maps is able to access the GPS correctly.

Sniffle anyway I can get a download for the stock kernal from 6.2 ....it worked so much smoother for me. I wanna use it on .7.0

Is there a su.zip I can apply from clockwork recovery, or ?

I got an su zip from Doctor on IRC, installed, but still no SU in app tray, launch apps and they can't find root access.

Appreciate any help VERY much!

Reflashing the ROM over it without wiping might help... I don't know really... Have you lost root? or is the app not working? I'm confused...

Are you guys using SPRecovery to flash this? I've been using CW for a while, but this will be my first 2.2 ROM flash, and I have heard of issues with CW on 2.2 ROMs.

Does this update.zip wipe /system, or should I ADB wipe /system? I'm just looking for the cleanest install. I will of course wipe /data and /cache.

I've installed this with clockwork and had no issues.

You can wipe /system in clockwork without adb, but I think the install will wipe the partition for you.
