At this point, now that the phone is so snappy and I am able to customize it as much as I can with LP in regards to setting up static icons, hiding the notification bar, hiding the icon labels, etc, that I'm not sure I'm even in the mindset to possibly root in the future. The only things I would want to use root for is overclocking and tethering, but supposedly, Froyo will take care of both, so yeah...

Best launcher application out there right now, and its not really even that close. Especially for non-rooted Droids.

^ Froyo will not allow you to overclock your phone.

The day google/moto allow people to o/c their phones ....
That would be cool to see google release o/c kernels....but that is not gonna happen.

After a couple of days of use everything looked fine, then today while using my email, the Droid reached a temperature of 102, while the average was 84. It was even lower when idleing.

Thank you. It turns out I needed to download and install the newest version.

I like hiding the notification bar and the labels as I think this makes for a 'cleaner' screen.

Now, we need to be able to increase the number of icon rows in the vertical (portrait) position to 5.

Easily the best launcher to date, and maybe ever. The custom icons bring in the only thing Helix had over LPB, and even LPB does it better (no more distorted pngs when pulling it into the app launcher area).

I wouldn't hesitate at all to throw some $ the developer's way as gratitude. Totally worth it.

Just drag and hold the icon over,the place you want,it on the,tool bar. Good the icon there for,about,2 seconds.

Please ignore my previous post. Those directions were wrong. Just press and hold the icon you want ot replace then in the pob up chose application and search for the icon you want ot place on the tool bar. When found press default icon and your done.

Still nothing. I press it, nothing happens for almost a minute, when it does there is no choice for gallery. The only way I found is thru astro and find the file my custom icons are in. but I cant use the ones from an icon pack through bettercut. Sometimes after i choose the first icon it pops up for me to look in gallery. Is there an easier way?

Holy crap!!! The four static icons got tiny after the most recent update.

But on a positive not I love how you can use a custom icon for a shprtcut/app at the bottom and don't even have to go through Bettercut.

If you re-add the icons, they go back to the original size.
