Slacker was crashing on me a lot yesterday by it seems to be fine today, Idk what changed it. There was an update to LP in the last few days in case you didn't know.

I had it happen with adw, which is why I deleted it. But later I found that it was slacker causing the problem. I had to reset the account to fix it.

Just downloaded new version from Market. I had no use for any of the updates, and the whole app is slower and not as smooth. I wish the older version would be restored.

Edited to Add: Works better again after reboot.

Everything was going great then a few updates and my battery started draining like crazy.

I actually deleted the app until further development. But it's a great one at that. It was very smooth and worked like a charm.

But now that it's off my phone, my battery doesn't drain so fast.

Just food for thought.

Wow this thing keeps getting better and better. Two major updates in the last 24 hours. Hidden app titles and app tray backgrounds are sweet. My fave is still the ability to change static icons to custom icons without using bettercut. If this guy could somehow figure out how to make the notification bar black I would have my phone pretty much the way I want it without rooting.

As of today Launcher Pro decimates all.

For real.. these 2 launchers are scrapping. LP latest update with the Froyo drawer is bad ass.

Droidna: Yes those are the recent updates done today. Except for the custom icon option which was in yesterdays update. Just go to the market and go to your downloads. Update will be there.

No I got the updates but I just didn't know what they done. I know now though and my screens fit a whole new row of icons, how did it get bigger?
And hiding the names of the apps and hiding notification bar? Omg I love it!

Just hot on the heels of v0.4.1, here comes a new release! It brings bug fixes and some cool new features

Here’s what’s new:

Fixed problem in Android 2.2 where the “Restart LauncherPro” option wouldn’t restart the app.
Fixed missing status bar when set to hide notification bar and Notifications was opened from menu.
Fixed wallpaper shifting down a few pixels when unlocking the screen.
When set to hide notification bar, the status bar will be shown when you press the menu button on your phone. This lets you see what kind of notifications you have, wifi status, etc.
New “Advanced settings” screen within the preferences. This will include some settings for those of you who like to tweak.
New: Option to choose the number of icons per row in both portrait and landscape mode. The options are 4 and 5 for portrait mode, and from 4 to 8 in landscape mode. (Advanced settings)
New: Option to have a 4×5 grid on homescreens instead of the default 4×4. Please note this is experimental. It only works with widescreen devices and in portrait mode. In any other scenario you’ll probably end up with icons and widgets overlaying each other. (Advanced settings)
New: Now you can choose a background for the shortcut dock. For now there are three options; No background, Glass shelf, and Froyo-style. More backgrounds coming in future releases.

I must say,
I'm leaning more to LP with LP's latest update.
The new grid access and disabling notifications has given me so much estate. Mad space and very clean.
