Here are some things I just figured out.
If you are using FolderOrganizer like I am to change Icons, if you use Widgets to add FolderOrganizer Labels and Items to your Homescreen, LauncherPro's disable Icon a labels and icon glow options will not work, but if you use "ShortCuts" to add FolderOrganizer Items to your Homescreen they work perfectly well.

I themed the old version for my Luna Theme, so I have not used the new version yet... The previous version is in my Luna Post if you want it (and don't mind some blues).

I updated and have zero issues.

My setup in prefs:

5 screens

auto rotation on

home key to default screen on

I use the full froyo dock bar

i do not hide my notification bar

I hide app labels

i do not keep my wallpaper centered on scrolling

I use glow highlights

I use the home button in app drawer

Advanced setting:

5 icons in homescreen unchecked

Elastic scrolling checked

high quality scrolling unchecked

Minimum scrolling speed = 0

I do not use the 3D app drawer

my drawer columns I have at 4 portrait

my drawer columns I have at 6 for landscape

opening speed at 4

screen previews opening speed at 4

I am guessing you guys having issues might be maxing out a lot of these advanced settings which would give you issues.

Also I have restarted this home replacement and rebooted the phone once after the upgrade, I always do that.

I also run a LOT of widgets. i have noticed Live wallpapers will hurt your PL performance.

Mine has slowed too and I don't use live wallpaper or any of the advanced settings.

I think the developer is trying to do too much and needs to keep it simple. Can't be everything for everyone.

Yeah, not trying to troll this thread but IMO ADW is just as nice a launcher, just as feature rich - now has ability to do four shortcuts in the dock, has sense-like previews....I use it mainly because it's now bundled with CyanogenMod.

I agree, wish I could roll back to the previous version.

You can revert back to most of the previous versions by downloading the .apk file that is posted on the LauncherPro website for each. I do it right through the browser on the phone and it installs without any problems at all. Also, the file for that version is then permanently on my phone and I can revert back to it and install any time I like.

I agree with many of the recent comments; I don't think scrolling is nearly as smooth as previous versions. In my opinion speed and overall performance is without a doubt the most important factor. For me, the sweetest build was 0.4.3, which I'm currently running. I've tried each of the subsequent updates and have reverted back each time. Hope these issues are addressed as I love this launcher!

new update cool for me...love it. Just as smooth and fast and more options. Check to make sure your advanced and settings are what you want.

Rolled back to 0.5.1 and all is good now. Go to the developers website and download the apk for 0.5.1.

Just updated (since I knew I could roll back) and the update works fine for me, not sure why others have issues. Also, ADW is a lot slower than this and I don't like the 2 shortcuts at the bottom and weird 6-tiny shortcut drawer thing.

And the Minimum Scrolling Speed should be at 0, NOT 100. I'm pretty sure that is the minimum speed that you need to move your finger before the screen will slide. So if you set it high, you need to move your finger really fast for it to do anything. If you set it low, you can slowly slide your finger and see the screen move slowly. This is part of why the screen animations look so fluid IMO.

from the desription on the dev's website min scrolling speed is how fast the screen scrolls regardless of how fast your finger moves. The minimum speed it will go matter how slow your fingers are. So putting it to 100 would make more sense if you want a fast scroll...thats what I use and what works for me.
