Leaked FRG22 Update Available for Rooted Droid 1

Even without a kernel loaded (yet) this thing flies. Its way faster than 01B. Only thing is that every theme out there is breaking my voicesearch.

I didn't exactly get how to fix the voice search problem either. What exactly should I do?

use the second link (middle one that is named FRG22-DEODEXED-Release-2.zip) in the original post, it fixes voice search, i tried all 3 and that is the only one with voice search working properly

I have been rocking this since late last night. I have to agree with 928Droid, this build is extremely fast. I am running this with P3's LV 1200mhz kernel and it flies. I also have Black Glass running but not the latest build for this rom, i am loading that now. This is the only rom that opens up Launcher Pro with 7 screens without any lag. That is going from sleep to awake or opening and closing apps and yes i have widgets on all 7 screens.

Thanks P#, MDW and anyone else that was involved in bringing this version of Froyo to light.

Does this remind any previous BB owners of the Storm days and newly leaked OSs?

Can anybody confirm if this fixes the redraw issue with Launcher Pro or ADW? I'm at work so can't exactly flash my Droid right now otherwise I'd just backup and give it a shot.

My redraws were so bad with LP on 2.2 that i had to go back to ADW but ive been on this build for a couple of hours and LP is working great. ZERO redraws with 5 pages of nothing but widgets

So far so good , boot time is phenomenal , boots 10 times faster than 01B .
Everything flies , responds quickly . dancedroid

Forgot to add , Gallery on 01B was slow , now with 22 is responsive , better than anything I have used to date . dancedroid

Read the whole thread. This has been addressed. You need to re-download the fixed ROM and re-flash.

Maybe it's a kernel thang...mine seems OK. Everything is working so far. BTW, using p3's low-voltage 250-1000 (LV-250-1000-v32kernel.zip).

I'd just like to pop a quick thanks to YankInDaSouth for helping me figure out how to get the new FRG22 Flashed to my phone!

I am running LP and using minor Overclock to 800mhz with a Quadrant ringing in at 1057.

So far no redraws etc... NEW to this stuff but I'm ENJOYING IT!!!!
