After throwing on tonight's nightly (from Froyo) Titanium Backup (Fresh install from market) would force close after asking for superuser permissions. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling (again from market), battery pulls, clearing data / cache, nothing worked. Then I tried running an app restore from Liberty Toolbox. When it finished, I noticed in "My Apps" in the market, it asked to update Titanium. I told it no, then tried to run Titanium again and it worked. So, on my phone atleast, the newest version of Titanium would not run, but whatever version I have it backed up to does.
is anybody else having problems with titanium backup? whenever i open it the screen dims and wont let me do anything it doesn't freeze just dims the screen...
Right when i saw Liberty was available for GB, i instantly went from Liberty 2.0 to Liberty GB. Only problem is i was soo excited that i forgot to make a back up of my Phone on GB before i put Liberty on it. Am i just S.O.L???? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question.
Had a problem with the alarm clock, when I set my alarm the other day the pop up at the bottom telling you its set for "blah blah hours from now" was stuck and wouldnt go away without a reboot. Thx
To anyone having problems with Titanium Backup latest version 3.7.6 (most recent update) force closing after it tries to allow root access... use THIS link: http://matrixrewriter.com/android/
It's the previous version 3.7.5 I found on the dev's website after a quick Google search on the problem.
If you're like me and made a Titanium backup before yesterday evening, installed Liberty GB and redownloaded Titanium from the Market to restore all your apps, Titanium's dev put out an update just last night and for some reason it WILL NOT work with Liberty GB - just immediately force closes when trying to gain root access no matter what you do (as already mentioned, clicking "forget" in the Superuser app and reopening/reinstalling does not work) - and you are stuck in a new ROM and not able to restore your apps. This should temporarily fix that.
Hopefully the dev will jump on that bug quick as the Market reviews for the app have already been flooded with people *****ing up a storm!

Are you talking about just regular GB or Liberty GB? Cause Titanium worked fine for me on GB too (first leak), until I just recently upgraded to LGB..
Anyone know if there any apps you need to deselect in restore that might not interact well with the new LGB and cause problems? Would like to try and find out before I go restoring over 400 apps+app data files, especially when I see some people posting that it gave them massive problems forcing an sbf
I let google restore my apps. I tried to do an advance restore from clockwork and just restore data and that bootlooped.
Also, I had the issue with losing all my contacts so I did a factory data/cache wipe and rebooted and everything syncs now like it is suppose to. Have not seen much in Battery life as I have not put it down long enough to to test out the battery life. I am not overclocked cuz I still dont understand it yet. LOL. I used kernels on D1 and it was easy.
there is no selection for "Silent" on the notification ring tone... i use several different notification ringers and not being able to select silent on the main one is kind of annoying.
