As noted by Juiceman in another thread here you CAN NOT sync Facebook with contacts in GB. This is Google stance now, you have to use a third party app that will sync your pictures to your contacts. Look at the Facebook GB thread.

Okay a couple more bugs, when clicking on a phone link from within the browser it brings the phone up but with no number. Tapping share on a picture after camera capture prompts an error that there is no program to handle...blah, blah blah.

Have same problem with camera capture, believe its linked to accounts issue.

Anyone having problems with GPS? I notice this when I updated to Liberty 2 from 1.5 two weeks ago and the problem is still there on GB. It seems like my phone can't find more than 1 satellite.

I've got the same issue with sharing photos - camera app responds no apps can perform this function...

LGBv0.1 installed via toolbox nightlies.

I also had that problem. I just swapped out moto camera for aosp camera. All is well in that regard

Its official, when I go to settings, account, it won't open. Same problem alot of people are having. I added my account on the initial setup, but now it just force closes.

Can someone help me out, I'm a little lost.

I was looking to upgrade from Liberty 2.0.1 to the new Liberty Gingerbread for the Droid 2.

Liberty GB is only for Droid X right now, but for the life of me I can't find where I saw that stated at; it could be elsewhere in this thread, but I'm pretty sure this isn't for D2 yet.

I know for a fact that Liberty Gingerbread is available for the Droid 2. The file is available in the Liberty Donate Toolbox and Jrummy even posted on twitter saying it's now available.

Just checked after you said can't add a new calender event. Your right, mine force closes too. That's all I found so far to be buggy. And still my root explorer is force closing for some reason. It won't let me clear data. Tried a different version.still no go.

The calendar is buggy. Only problems I've encountered that affect me are calendar, accounts fc, swype not showing which I remedied, and overclock not sticking at boot.
For a nightly this is so freaking great. Some final roms aren't this stable.

To start off, I absolutely love liberty gb. Installed it off if 2.0.1 this morning.
Heres some problems I've had from starting the process to where I am now.

1. Firstly downloading the zip over 3g takes forever so like any sane person I enabled wifi to download it, problem is, my connection would freeze before I got to 30%. I've had this problem before and always turned airline mode off/on to fix it and browser would resume download. However the toolbox app didn't resume the download it so I messed around with my modem and did some research here's the fix: I switched my WPA encryption from AES to TRIP. Easy fix and was able to download the zip in minute.

2. Obvious the accounts issue has been addressed but I belive several people are unaware of the work around. Open gmail --> click the menu button --> Tap accounts --> add account. This will allow you to add multiple accounts, sync with Skype. However it does not allow you to set up a sync with facebook for reasons discussed earlier in the post about a decision by google.

3. Besides the facebook sync not working my biggest issue in Librety GB that I did not have with liberty froyo is lockscreen controls. In froyo liberty, when pattern lock was truned on, slide to unlock was turned off so there was no need for a double unlock. However in GB slide to unlock remains and its very annoying. Why is that feature gone? In previous versions the toolbox allowed changing to rotary lockscreen which now crashes in GB.

Amazing rom though. Haven't had any reboots, lockscreen freezes or boot loops. Nice work jrummy

On top of that, when the phone's screen goes black, ie display timeout, it will not come back on unless I pull the battery and reboot.

I thought it might have something to do with Launcher Pro, so I am trying to change the default launcher. The only way I knew how was to go to settings/apps/app manage/launcher and clear defaults. The clear defaults option is greyed out.

I started having this issue last night, as well. I had to do a battery pull like six times in a row before I had a working boot. Did removing LauncherPro fix it? I'm using LauncherPro Plus, latest version, and I'd hate to have to give it up.

To be more specific about my problem, the display would turn on but be displaying a completely black screen, and there was no haptic feedback when I tried to swipe to unlock. I couldn't interact with the UI; but, the display would turn off after a few seconds like it normally would when you turn it on w/o unlocking it, so the system seemed like it was running in the background, but you couldn't interact with it. Strange.

Also, anyone else notice the Swype keyboard taking like two full seconds to come up half of the time?

I've had the swype keyboard issue before in froyo liberty. Haven't installed swype in gb yet though.
