Ok thanks. So would I be better off to wait for the ota and root or juat update right off the toolbox?

Do it now. Once you OTA the only other way to root is P3's three file install and this is so much easier so why wait.

Alright I got everything to work right after re-installing 0.1>0.3 I also kept the phone on the charger and put in my account info immediately instead of skipping. Good to know the v0.1 thing is just an error

You have to re-install .1 then install .3 for it to work?

I downloaded .3 and installed it through clockwork. I can't tell if I have it or not.

Bugs for v0.3 Nightly

Bug report:

1) Under settings->call settings->text message reply, the option to "edit messages" is available, and the button responds to my touch, but nothing happens. I am not able to edit any messages or prompted with a text box (which i might expect).

2) Settings->liberty settings->spare parts->battery history force closes. I think this was already mentioned, saw a previous post but was unable to determine if it had been remedied.

3) could not set up account for facebook under Settings->accounts->add account for either the market-downloaded fb or the linear fb black app downloaded from liberty toolbox.

Just noticed the Blur setup app in my drawer after upgrading to the v0.3 nightly. Tentative to set it up as I'm not a fan of blur and their "ninjablur" style of stealing my RAM. Setting up blur account may be a possible remedy for #3?

I installed the update. I did not wipe, my calender its fixed, but my accounts are still the same. Force closing before I can do anything. I can open it from gmail, but when I click facebook and twitter icons nothing happens.

Swyped with libertybread crumbs in my bed.

Having browser issues. MLB scoreboard seems out of date with yesterday's scores. After going to today's date the links won't work. Not sure if this is bug related but never happened before GBLib. Backed up browser with TiB to delete and use FF or Sky but TiB says "no backup, still want to delete" and I'm looking at it right there.

.3 installed no wipe.
Battery history in spare parts fc's same as before.
Saw the tweet about the version in notification.
Accounts in settings still no go. Accounts as a home selection only allows yahoo and google, no fb or linkedin.
Buggy but still smooth and functioning.
Not sure what the double click meant in the tweet.

Facebook: No go under accounts and the facebook app can not sync application contact info.

MOTOBLUR: ???? Um why? There doesn't even seem to have widgets or any social functions. Just the setup app which you can't even register for! Interesting indeed...

PullDown Editor: Doesn't seem to work after the update. So I will represent the Liberty GB banner for now.

The motorblur setup icon is back as a result of the accounts fix. To my knowledge, Facebook can no longer sync with any Android which is running 2.3 or later.

-Accounts opens but cannot sync with facebook/ facebook contacts
-Pulldown bar editor now does not work
-MotoBlur "App Groups" options still not available when long clicking shortcut on launcherpro
-Battery life slightly shorter compared to stock rooted gingerbread

The motorblur setup icon is back as a result of the accounts fix. To my knowledge, Facebook can no longer sync with any Android which is running 2.3 or later.

But facebook synced for me when I was running the .573 leak stock rooted gingerbread. It just stopped working when I switched to liberty gb.

.573 was blur, everything that is gingerbread for the X was blur. Only liberty and LexLite removed blur. Makes sense that facebook doesn't sync.

So if we want facebook jrummy would need to re-add the social services.

And motoblur setup apk makes some sense too to have accounts work when blur was removed.
