I had the same issue earlier...not sure of it was a fix or coincidence, but after updating the kernal my 3g data returned immediately

Thanks, man. Trying that now.

Anyone else have an issue with the Android Synch failing?

Liberty GB v.5

I have Blur messaging installed, however the calendar app doesn't "see" the corporate sync (blue) calendar.

Any fixes?

Ok, got the calendar working. Now i've noticed that my screen doesn't always turn on when hotting the power buttom. If I hold it down the screen turns on with the power off settings, that's my only way in. anyone else having this issue?
P.S. I fixed my calendar by reinstalling via Liberty Customizing then rebooting

I am on LGB 0.4v, running Blue Haze theme. When I am viewing any picture and I try to "share" via mms, email, etc it gives me this message when I first click the share button: No applications can perform this action. Anyone know why?

So, I had the problem where I updated to .5 from .4 after a wipe and couldn't activate. Guess there was too much wireless interference at work, but I couldn't activate over wifi either. Whatever. Thing was that after I tried to go from .4 to .5 without a wipe (thinking that would make a difference) I used the terminal emulator and I had data, oh yes I had data, I had no DNS. So, for what it's worth, the thing that's not working is DNS after going to .5. You need the new kernel before 3g data will work, fixing something with the DNS I'm guessing.

My only prob with .5 is the sync icon won't go away....and I'm drawing a blank on how to get rid of it

Upgraded to .5 OK

My upgrade was smooth. I did it the same way I do CM7 with a custom kernel on my wife's Dinc.

1. Move Rom and Kernel zips to the root of the SD card.
2. Boot into CWM and wipe data a few times as well dalvik. (always wipe Dalvik before a kernel change.
3.Installed ROM (did not reboot)
4. Immediatly installed kernel update.
5. Boot

Two things.

Im in lgb v5 and my hard buttons no longer light up.

The social network widget that I added with the customizer does nothing. When I try to add it as a widget nothing shows up. I can look at it as an app but that's not what I want.

Edit. My hard keys are now lighted don't know why they went before.

This happened to me a few days ago. Fixed it by freezing Contacts Sync in Ti Backup. I think the other way to do it is via Root Explorer, by renaming the corresponding APK in system/app (I forget the actual filename though).

(edit): filename was blurcontactsync.apk in system/app, rename to something like blurcontactsync.apk.bak. That worked for me too, but that was before I started running Liberty GB. I just checked (now running 0.5), and there is no blurcontactsync.apk in my system/app folder.

With this kernal update to .591 is there any way to go back? As well is there any reason to go back (As in will every other rom including stock play nice with this)? I know with the system update's I have had to sbf every time to get back. Is this the same for the kernal?
