I got mine working by deleting the info off my sd card and redownloading. But that was on .4, either way its worth a shot

can't update nightlies

I went to Liberty .1 last night and now I have tried the 591 kernel as well as the GB.5 with the kernel. No matter what I do when I go to install the phone shuts down and turns back on as usual with the silver liberty logo and then the screen just goes dim and freezes. I have to battery pull each time.


Any help?

i found a solution to the problem i was having with facebook not staying linked to the accounts.

it had to do with the customizer. i would install the blur messaging but that wouldnt work, it would close as soon as i tried to open it in to turn off the notifications (i use handcent). so i would run the customizer to switch it to ASOP messaging, and after running the customizer the second time it would take off the link to facebook in accounts.. but then i couldnt add it again cause it was "already" linked, but not sync'ing. i had to do a wipe and fresh start with v5 and just do the customizer one time and FB has stayed linked and sync'd.

Hey guys, remember the issue with the Calender Sync a few versions back? Well I'm now having that issue again now that I flashed the 0.5 GB. Any fixes?

i reported problems with bump and LBG, but it was slightly different, i was getting reboots everytime i plugged in my phone to charge... i never tried to open bump so i can't confirm if it would reboot then as well.

The same thing just happened to me as well. Plugged into the computer and it reboot, then moved to the wall and it reboot again. Didn't have issues with a car charger though.

BeyondPod on 0.5

Not sure if its something I have done but the podcast player in Beyondpod is causing reboots. Poweramp works fine.
Other than the few little bugs that may be my install or just workin with a leak, I'm lovin' it! Great job.

Hey guys, remember the issue with the Calender Sync a few versions back? Well I'm now having that issue again now that I flashed the 0.5 GB. Any fixes?

Could be two things. I love Liberty, but it is just too buggy for me right now so I switched to APEX 2.0. But here is a couple things you could try.

1). Using the attached zip. Boot into CW and flash the file.
2) You might have to wipe it. I had to wipe mine 11 times in 5 days, so I said screw it lol.

No i couldnt ever get into stock recovery.Im just going to let it be since i dont really need it.Just odd i cant get into it.If you have any other ideas send me a pm.I didnt mean to hijack this thread.

My stock recovery was broken.I flashed a recovery patch and all is good now.I can get into my stock recovery.

Where did you get the stock reocvery patch and how did you get it to work without being able to get into recovery. I am missing my update.zip and I can't get into recovery because of it.

I had this same problem. I used liberty customized and switched messaging, camera, and gallery to aosp and am now able to share images from both the gallery and through the camera. Stuck with aosp apps instead of the blur apps but it works. Hopefully this is fixed in the future...

I have .5 installed and so far I like most of it. The one problem I have is after adding Blur email and calendar and setting up my corporate sync account neither my contacts or corporate calendar are syncing. I can see my gmail calendar, but my corporate one isn't there. And my contacts don't sync at all. Any ideas?

EDIT: I guess I spoke too soon. I cleared the cache and davlik cache and then went through the customizer and added asop email. When I setup my corporate sync account through that my calendar and contacts showed up and sync'd. But, is there a reason why blur email won't sync my contacts and calendar?

Calendar widget does not work. Dialer issues, closes after pressing an account name. :icon_eek:
