Liberty Gingerbread Official Bug Reports

I have been trying to get an answer to this. Trying to update my friends X to any new version of liberty from .1. Keeps aborting the install, says it can't open it. In the end it says (bad). That is after many different downloads and retries. Then I try to restore a backup and its aborted also, says md5 mismatch. What am I missing here? My install on my X went perfect!

I just started using the built-in version of ADW, and it seems to have a dead spot on the bottom of the screen...when I try to click any buttons near the bottom of the screen, I get that haptic "didn't work" buzzing like sensation. I need to click farther up on any lower button. (It's hard to explain, but I think that's the gist of it)

Anyone else seen this issue? I didn't have any issues after installing V.5 last Friday night until starting to use ADW. I did install a custom ADW theme shortly after switching to ADW (I had been using Zeam, I tend to switch between launchers periodically), so that could be the cause.

I had the same problem but I found out why....I had Widgets on my home screen and I had an empty spot and thought I still had room but I really didn't the widget was talking up that empty space ...if you try to resize it you wouldn't be able to becus again your outta room

Ok, but this even happens in Messaging, when I was trying to type "..." I didn't realize what was happening at first, but eventually I just started hitting the period key near the top of it, and it started working no problem.

I am having a problem where my contacts for my corporate email account show when typing an email but the phone numbers do not show in my contact list. Is this a known problem? I just purchased the paid version yesterday and went through the .1 install and upgraded to the latest I think it was .5 and the latest kernal update after that.

Found something from v5. Social Net widget appears in the menu but it tries to create the widget but fails. Unlike v4, Status Updates was a working widget but is missing in v5. SN was working as an app but not like a widget, but it let you customize what you want it to show.

In Contacts, when you select one name, and open up a option menu both the Share and the Options boxes appear faded out like if they were unavailable. Options still works if pressed but Share is non responsive. the Join option is also faded but works.

Kinda new to this but i am running the gb v.05 and everything is working perfectly except my LED no longer lights up xD
Tried a bunch of different messaging apps still no luck

Is this how the soap email menu should look? I removed all email and rebooted and then reinstalled it but it still looks like this, with the missing icons and the refresh icon not being right. Is there a way to correct it?

Official gb ota

I dont where to ask this, hope this is the right place, but i am on Libert GB 0.5.. What happens when the official OTA comes out?? What do we do?

Issue: Settings - Liberty Settings - Spare Parts - then when I choose Battery History it force closes every time. It has done this on every version of the Lib Gingerbread, I'm currently running v0.5

Flashed LGB 0.5 from 2.0.1 last night. Going from 2.0.1 > LGB .1 > LGB .4 > LGB .5(w/ kernel) Wiping all between each flash.
Only issue I have found is the Battery History FC'ing as above.
Has anyone solved this with a reflash of v0.5. Or will a redownload of the tool box and customizer fix this? I know that a reflash fixed Liberty Settings>Spare Parts FC'ing on 2.0.1.

Side note; Is there a way to NOT have market download every program I have when I flash a rom and open the market? I may not want EVERY program I had.
Other than that everything is great.

Do you have to do all that flashing if Im on 2.0.1 cant I flash GB leak then flash .5? Wiping allo the stuff inbetween.

After I flashed v.1 and went into LTB-Nightlies, only v.4 was listed so I flashed that. After v.4 flash, went back into LTB v.5 with kernel showed up.

Still curious if everyone is having issues with the battery Battery History in Spare Parts or just some of us.

No worries,
v.1 is if you are on a FROYO ROM, v.5 you MUST already be on Gingerbread. If you are on Liberty 2.0.1 you are on FROYO. If you flash from 2.0.1 -> .1 then -> v.5 make sure you use the one WITH kernel.
I went 2.0.1->.1->.4->.5 only because .5 wasn't listed after I flashed .4

I went 2.0.1->.1->.4->.5 only because .5 wasn't listed after I flashed .4

I went back and read instructions lol. When I download GB leak I endup basicly with a stock rooted Gb( V.1) from there I can then flash .5. Wheeeew
