Is there anyway to transfer paid apps from one phone to another? My DX is for personal use, I have a D1 for work (different #'s). If i only had to buy one or two apps again I wouldn't mind but I don't want to spend another $20 for all of them…

Liberty 2.0.1 has been working great on my DX, only 1 FC and 1 forced reboot in the past 2 weeks.

use the same google account for each, they will download from the Market. If your D1 is rooted (i'm guessing not since it's for work), you can backup your apps with TB and then restore them on the D1, then restore Market Links.

I am a happy camper. On 1.5 I was constantly getting wake locks and now after 2.0 I have not had one for over a week. On 1.5 I would have wake locked 3-4x by now. Thanks Guys! Can't wait till GB liberty comes out!

Okay so I CAN have multiple phones linked to the same google account, and that should let me distribute my apps to both devices. I'll give it a try tonight when I can.

Another question, as it IS my work phone. Can I add my google account, get my apps, then remove the account afterwards so that the work account is the only one again? I can get away with rooting and changing things but I don't want to keep my google payment info on the work device. It does get used by others throughout the day and I don't need "accidental" charges...

The apps will only sync to the 'main' account on the phone - ie. the first google account you put on it.

I would suggest getting a free app like Astro File Manager, and using that to make a backup of the apk on your device where they exist. Then just use Dropbox to sync the apks off the sdcard to your second phone. Now you can use the apps on both phones.

Alternatively, you don't have to use Dropbox. You could just mail them to yourself, mail them to a second email on the other device, mount to pc then xfer, etc. There's a lot ways.

And even more, you could use Titanium Backup to backup both the app and its data. Then move those to the sdcard of the second device and then use Titanium to restore.

If you don't want your payment method on the work device, the 'backup' alternatives are your best bet.

Well, yeah, you'd need to download the updates on the original device and then push them over to the second device. It's a bit of work, but if you don't want the gmail on two devices, the extra effort is your next best option.

darkslide is froyo, right? it's best to wipe if it's froyo, no need to sbf.

anyone have any idea as to why my gmail doesn't update/notify me when I get a new mail? I don't know when/how this started, but I just noticed it; I uninstalled and reinstalled, but I still don't get anything
