Liberty ROM - v. 2.0

This is an awesome ROM, has some really sweet features... it makes my droid go dancedroid.

That being said, I do have a few questions about it. I ran a quick search for these and they didn't come up, but I apologize if they have already been answered (I couldn't bring myself to read through 80 some pages of posts):

  • Is there a way to set a timeout for the lockscreen settings? It's slightly annoying to have to do a combination lock when my phone has been idle for less then a minute
  • Is there a way for the dialer to automatically drop names in as I press they keys? (i.e. if I put in 5646, John would appear in the dropdown box)
  • I had QuickOffice (Free Version) on my original build, and for some reason it stayed on the first few ROMs I put on, but suddenly it is no longer on my phone, I have to look at PDFs from my email frequently, and really would rather not buy QuickOffice to do this when it was working fine before
If anybody could help me out with any of these questions I'd be grateful. Thanks again to the developers for creating such an awesome ROM, it's by far the smoothest (and coolest-looking) setup I've had since I got the phone.

Can I install Liberty GB when I already have Gingerbread with root installed.. Or do I have to sbf back then install Liberty GB?

No need to sbf. Read original post on that thread, it should literally tell you step by step process depending on where you're at in the process

Hey guys. Before today, I was very worried that I would screw up flashing the Liberty ROM, but I decided to do it anyway. After it was successful, I was like a kid on Christmas morning. All's amazing, but I have two problems currently. After a reboot, the wallpaper changes back to default. Is there any way to stop this from happening? And second, when viewing launcher in landscape, why is the dock Froyo? Portrait is GB, but sideways is FY.

Thanks in advance,
Buckoman

P.S. - Keep up the kick-ass work. I don't like any ROM better than Liberty.

I was like that until it wouldn't go past the boot logo and I had to sbf. Freaked me out. It was my first experience flashing and it was not good. I don't know why it didn't work! Now I'm back to stock but my market doesn't work. Not sure what to do

Just got it installed. Runs fast - crazy-fast!!!

Just a couple Q's:
What happened to the HDMI option for the Gallery (important as I have the HDMI cable).

Camera/Video Cam settings such as 8MP and 720p video missing?

If there are apps that anyone knows of to replace these settings, that'd be cool too......

As always thanks!!!

Ok I'm a rookie so what exactly do I do? After the download I used Tom.manager to open or do I need another app to run the install?
