There are different setting for the home button. "Behavior Settings" "Home key action". Not sure that will help but I'm gonna have to download VEVO and test myself. Let me know.
VEVO closes for me as well after hitting home but so does Youtube and Pandora. Di you say you had a setup where it DID NOT close after hitting home? If so what ROM?
It runs like it was made for Liberty. So nice! I'm not on gb yet. I just flashed last week and I was waiting for some bugs to be ironed out. I'll prob try it out tomorrow. Its so nice on froyo, i ca: only imagine what liberty gb is like.
I cant install it, after download from phone, booted on recovery and when select to install liberty2.0.1.zip, keeping getting the (bad) zip error! Also when trying to copy the file to another clean SD card, get the msg asking to copy the other part of the multi-part zip file.
Same thing happens if i use the file downloaded from PC.

1. Uninstall Liberty Tools
2. boot into recovery (hold power and home during reboot) and clear cache
3. Re-install Liberty tools
4. BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP then backup the backup
5. Try 2.0 again.
Also, noticed Liberty works great if you hook into a WiFi network - the files download faster than on 3G. If you have a decent wireless network I would try that too.
Just got Droid X, rooted, tried to install liberty...after installed zip, Keep getting stuck in liberty boot image. I've tried sbfing with a few diff. files and everytime I do, using rsd lite...says fail everytime.
If you haven't already, re-download the VRZ_MB810_2.3.34_1FF_01.zip file and unzip it. If you already did that......do it again but save it to a different location on your computer and delete the old one )sometimes files get corrupt(. Boot into recovery and clear cache and wipe to factory. I would also plug the phone into wall power for 10 minutes or so to get the battery charged a bit.
unfortunately i forgot to back up before i installed rom, yea i keep trying rsdlite keeps saying failed...used at least 5 diff sbf i've found floating around. When i go into recovery though it's not bootstrap...i'm gussing it's the x's normal recovery...i wiped data / factory reset and still no luck...
