its flashing on and off the liberty screen. i did everything step for step. i and when i rebooted. this is what i got. i read the step 5 time and checked each off. when i go to step 7 for the reboot. this is where its been.
Using RSD Lite should flash your phone and completely erase Liberty and make the phone look like it did out of the box. My suggestion is to start from scratch.
1. Download the necessary files:
Download RSD Lite 4.9
Download USB_Drivers_32_bit_4.6.0.zip (Windows XP - use other if you are on Windows 7 or Vista)
Download VRZ_MB810_2.3.34_1FF_01.zip (you will need to extract this file into a folder it should be called - VRZ_MB810_2.3.34_1FF_01.sbf after you unzip it)
Power off the phone then Hold "Volume" Down + Camera Button while holding power
Should have USB black screen that says "OK"
Then plug in USB if not already plugged in - launch RSD and search for the phone.
Browse to the "VRZ_MB810_2.3.34_1FF_01.sbf" file and execute the flash.
There is a youtube video on the like I sent you that shows the process on a computer. It should take about 20 minutes. Make sure you charge the battery from a wall charger for a good 10 minutes before you try this again as your battery will be low.
Good job explaining synctek. And, just in case you bootloop after the sbf, just boot into stock recovery and do a factory reset /data wipe and that will take care of the bootloop. All the best!
I get an entire day out of mine and Im not using the extended - provided I dont flash a ROMs and do backups, stream music through Pandora and broadcast via bluetooth at the same time or whatch multiple youtube videos, answer emails and text or any phone calls which are few and far between . If it stays in my pocket all day I would get 2-3 days out of it but I use it a bunch especially since Liberty so I make sure there is a USB cable at my office PC, charger in my car and a dock at home because I won't get a days worth playing with it.
As for the multi-tasking....are you using the stock liberty home screen or Launcher Pro? I'm using Pro with no issues but I don't use VEVO but I can bounce out of Pandora or Music...
Tips for battery:
1. Turn off Bluetooth and WiFi when not in use - will save a bunch
2. Lower brighntess by 1/4 - big difference in battery life
3. Turn off GPS when not in use
These are things I do but ultimatley battery life sux with smart phones because their so busy......
Based on post - I would test your factory battery if you still have it. It doesn't sound like your usage matches the charge life of your battery. I'm only speaking from my own experience. Iv'e only been on liberty for about a week but since the install, I spend more time toying with the phone because there are so many customizations.
The other thing to check is CPU settings. Are you overclocking?
So based on the log, it's been almost 7.5 hours since my last full charge and it's down to 60%.
The biggest culprit is the display, even though, I turned it down to the lowest setting. I'll continue to monitor it closely.
So I downloaded the free version of Launcher Pro, Vevo will close if i hit the Home key. Is there a specific setting under Preferences, I should look into?
Thank you.
Hmm...maybe it was for streaming media, cause that seems to work. Never mind!
