Yes rebooted, hooked it back up to computer changed name to update and did the whole process over and it said update successful

Sorry, stupid response earlier. I don't understand how I have the current firmware listed under "Firmware version" (2.01) and yet the baseband version is incorrect. Do I need to try and go through the upgrade process again?

Yes, I did three restarts (reboots) using the Shift/alt/del keys. The downloads tab only disappeared after browsing through the market for a period of time. I'm under the assumption that something was still "in the works" and did not complete for the first half hour or so.

I also "had" the download tab. After about 10 minutes went back in and checked, it has now changed to verizon......

So I did the update and followed all of the instructions. It went through all the steps and at the end said installation aborted. I rebooted the phone and saw the new login screen and checked my about settings, and I am on 2.01, build number ESD56.

Is that what was supposed to happen?

Anybody tried this on a Mac? I can't specifically find the SD card, though I believe that the mount itself is the SD card. Can anyone verify?

Did mine from an iMac. You just plug the phone into an USB port then slide the top menu down from your home screen and tap, "USB Connected," it will then give you the option to mount it. Works fine.

Have done so. for some reason it is only listing 3 that start with "C" and one that starts with "L". If I do a search, the contacts are still found, but cannot see them on the list. I can add all the fb contact, but I cannot find how to show a list of manually programed ones.
