sorry...things I do after rooting will make it eeeven better...gotchaThe rooting itself will not improve the battery, but things you can do after you root will improve battery life, and give you more control over your phone. It's like having administrator permissions on a computer.

Alrighty ... I'm plugged inOk ... hook the phone to your PC and make sure it's recognized. Pull down your notification bar and you will see "USB Connections" ... tap that and set it to "MTP Media Device" ... NOT USB MASS STORAGE

Now, open the folder you extracted the .zip file to on your PC ... and click on the "DroidRazrUtility.bat" to start the utility.
A window will open, with yellow lettering, and it will say "Press any key to continue", press the spacebar to go to the next screen.
The next screen will have blue lettering, with a menu of choices. You will choose option 2 (Ice Cream Sandwich Root 4.0.4)
Press "2" and hit enter. Your phone will reboot TWICE during the process, do not do anything until it is done.
