MattyP's .215 Leak Classroom

Worst case scenario you can use matts utility to fastboot back to stock as herlon suggested, then try re flashing .215. I'm assuming that you are running stock ice cream sandwich .211 right now?

Here it is josh... I knew you were part of the crew, lol!

Thanks to Matty and All the rescue Squad / Another satisfied customer

4 or 5 days ago I installed Mattys .215 leak and the 1st two days the battery life was a little better, the last 2 days the battery life was real bad. I have never done a FDR on my razr maxx but after reading how many times the guys on the rescue squad recomended it after every upgrade i had to try it. After downloading MyBackup which TisMyDroid recomended to many of us newbies ( worked great ) I did 2 FDR's and a clear catch sat.am. After getting everything reinstalled, tweaked and a FoxFat battery calibration charge, WOW! what a difference, SNAPPY, lean and clean.
It's only been 24 hrs but man this thing is sweet, still have a 68% charge.
Thanks again to everyone!
I agree this forum ROCKS!

Going back to stock .211:
*On your pc, download and install Matt's Razr Utility 1.8 or 1.81 or 1.82. You can find 1.82 here:
Droid Razr Utility 1.82 [Windows] For Verizon Droid Razr And Droid Razr Maxx Only - DroidRzr.com
*Extract that utility to its own folder on your computer...you must extract the file on your pc. It will not work from your phone.
*After the utility is extracted, go to the Motorola drivers folder in the utility and make sure you have the latest Motorola drivers installed on your pc.
*make sure your phone is set to usb debugging mode (menu>system setting>developer options).
*Power your phone off. Then power your phone on while holding down your power, the volume up and volume down buttons simultaneously.
*Connect your phone to your computer with the factory supplied usb cable.
*On your phone select AP Fastboot, then in the utility select option 1..."restore phone to stock .211. Do not unplug the usb cable until the utility finishes.
*When completed your phone should reboot to stock .211.
*After running option 1, restart phone to make sure all is fine.

Hey Mis Tis, hope you had a fine Christmas! Have you flashed back to .211 and tried the latest JB that I hear was accidentally pushed out? Just wondering.. I am still waiting for the official word that all is clear before I do anything.

I have ... worked like a charm and I have root back, as well as the Hotspot hack ... FoxKat has opened a new classroom :D

I work the next 2 days, and then I am taking a vacation for the weekend and going to see my dad, so I won't be around until pretty much ... next year LOL

I'll be home Monday night. Hope everyone had a good Christmas!
