[ROM] Maverick ROM v3.5 for Droid 3

His full question is to have universal inbox back and how to integrate DJMod in this ROM.

Sent from my XT862 + ICS
Well, I don't really care about universalinbox as long as messaging.apk works. All I wanna know is whether it works (before I flash/wipe), and if it does not, if/how I can make it work myself.
That and, will DJmod be supported like all the previous mavrom versions.

It seems something has changed in the way tethering works in 3.5 vs. 3.0.

Wireless tethering works but while active, several apps on the phone cant find the internet. For example, I can browse the Market but when I try to download an app, it says no internet. Disabling tethering and all apps work again.

I have seen this problem on several ROMs that I have tried but all apps connected fine on 3.0.

Any suggestions on a fix?

hey the link for 3.5 is broken for me idk about anyone else but i made an account just to say this i really wana try 3.5 i love your roms its the fastest d3 rom out there

@doubleyoupee the messaging.apk is stil included in 3.5 in both standard and inverted blur options. If you want universalinbox.apk just take it out of the zip from 3.0 and drop it in 3.5 easy as that. As far as djmod goes, for right now it will not be supported. Lots of framework changes in 3.5 and buck hasn't had time to port it over yet. We will let you know when its done.

To anyone having download issues I will double check that our server is working ok and report back asap.

As far as tethering goes I would like more details when you guys post. I would mainly like to know what app your using and if you have done the radio mod. Thanks!

UPDATE: Ok many of you have been having random issues here and there with download links and themes etc. Here's what happened. Our server was migrated to a new location and the data that was restored was a 2 week old backup. So the link for 3.5 would be broken due to that as well as any theme that was installed in the last couple days would have been a 3.0 one which would cause issues being installed on 3.5. I am in the process and almost finished with re-uploading all of our files. So within the hour you should clear the toolbox downloads and reinstall any theme that you are currently using. Sorry for the issues you guys.

Thanks, will wait for djmod

Btw, if the same apk from 3.0 works.. and the script/toolbox option was already there, how is it "too much work" to keep it? I mean removing it from toolbox was probably more work.. Just wondering .
Flashing 3.5 now. Edit: Bah, can't open mavrom3.5.zip (bad) installation aborted. Redownloading now..

DJmod doesn't work .. installed it right after 3.5 but i have no statusbar at all now. (no clock, no notification bar, nothing) :frown:
I used MavROM-DJMODdarktheme25.zip like on 2.5 and 3.0. Installed Darktheme and statusbar is back.

Help :(

just reinstall 3.5 over top of itself ( if the dark theme didn't restore everything)

if you feel like testing another, you can try this - no guarantees, though, make a backup first ;-)
