I too am only on my 3rd...or so charge and do notice the first 10-15% battery does drain quick. No matter what the tests reveal from you all I can say that I have no problem whatsoever making it through an entire work day...no more worries about running out of charge before bed.
I've gotten up to almost 5 days without even looking at my charger, but usually it is around 3-3.5 hours. When I got my phone it wasn't quite that good but with the update to task killer where it kills tasks automatically every 30 min (or less often) and some careful tweaking on my smartActions app it's not that hard to get pretty amazing battery life out of it.
If you get some time, I'm sure there's plenty of readers, including myself of course, that would appreciate you going into more detail about "tweaking" for optimal battery performance.
Yup, the Google Play Music app sucks. I took a trip to l.a. and had the music playing for 4+ hours straight using the aux cable. It drain about 15%-20%. With the Motorola Music App. That was on my OG RAZR. This weekend I took a short 35-40 minute drive and did the same thing but with the Play Music app and the battery drained almost 10%! This was using my new Maxx HD.
Maybe some one on XDA can figure out how to pull the hidden Motorola Music app from the RAZR HD so we can use it.
After talking to some fellow Droids advice that are more savy than I, I worked on my smart actions a bit, made some changes to the wi-Fi smart actions where I had the phone not in use and the screen was not, no background syncing, everything pretty much slept, then when I picked it up and it sensed motion and i unlocked, everything started running again. I have smart actions set up to use Wi-Fi in my house and my data plan everywhere else, unless I will be there a while then i'll jump on thier Wi-Fi
I came out to 1 day 16 hours 8 minutes and 17 seconds. I had 16% battery left and turned it off I'm now charging back up to 100%
i didn't notice a significant change in what i was getting before, but it was enough to squeeze a few more hours.
I was getting kinda crappy battery performance and came to find out I was getting constant wakelocks. My awake bar in battery stats was a solid blue line. Looking at your screenshots that doesn't seem to be your issue, but the app that helped me track down the battery sucker was GSam Battery Monitor. There are a bunch of apps that can do this.
