Maylong M-150 universal android tablet

furbearingmammal,

How do I know what version my M-150 is running?

When it boots up I get these numbers - 2.1.1_105.

Does that mean anything?

Regards

Settings> About phone (it does say phone, doesn't it?) and check out the Android version, build number, kernel version, and mod version if you have one of those. :)

Thanks, and same to you and all the other American users here. Canadian users already had theirs and anyone from overseas probably doesn't know what we're talking about, anyway. :D

If you're interested you can hack on it, root it, and install ROMs and unofficial firmware. This may increase your satisfaction with this device. However, doing so will VERY MUCH void your warranty. :)

A warranty on a $100.00 tablet is not really that valuable. It's a good point to bring up though. For a lot of us however, as soon as we get the things out of the boxes, we're going to do some hacking and rooting. :):)
