Missed Call for the Motorola Droid

Thank you for the feedback. I know that the colors are not well calibrated at the moment. I will fix that when I can get my hands on my own Droid/Milestone.

It's been working excellent for me. The call service has seemed to work every time and the SMS works good as well.

Will it do a proper notification for an MMS? I don't think I've received one since I installed this.

Anyway if you set it up right (i.e. turning off default notifications) it does exactly what it's supposed to.

It works much better now than it did before. Sometimes when I get an SMS, and I drag down the top notification bar, the notification will be there and it will say "0 new SMS"

I thought, I'd let you know here.

It seems like it happens when I drag the notification bar down, but I don't click the notification. The notification obviously remains there, but the LED flash goes away and it reads "0 new sms"

Very Weird.

Well ok. Sliding down the status bar always stops LED notifications (this is Android default behaviour). When you click on the status bar icon you will get directly into the message thread and the icon should disappear. In fact the "0 new sms" is a bug.

Well I am in Germany but at the moment the milestone is too expensive for me. (since I am not making any money with Missed Call at the moment)

Toss up a missed call on the app store and add "DONATIONS" at the end, and explain your predicament. For example, that you can't get some things to work without the actual phone (like the LED color calibration). I am sure people, including me, would be more than happy to donate for the sake of software development.

Oh well I have already tried that and well the effort to manage the income with the german tax authorities was much higher than the donations. So I have decided to stop accepting donations.

In the united states, "voluntary gifts" are not taxed as I understand - they are in taxed in Germany? That is pretty sad =(

I would like to see the notification screen show the missed call, sms, or email again. You know scroll back across the top after so many minutes.

Love this program. Only thing that it is missing for me is being able to split texts longer than 160 characters to phones outside of Verizon. Any chance of that happening?

You can use either Handcent SMS or chompSMS to split a text longer than 160 characters.
