So somebody said they didn't wipe and all of their settings were still there?

I didn't think that was possible with a nandroid restore, regardless of recovery?

???

I got confused last night when I saw another version available with a .zip d/l, and thought it was for the update.zip method. I was wrong though, :frown:.

update.zip vs nandroid backup can be confusing when you d/l the nandroid in .zip format.

Anyone have mirrors for the other downloads?

The OC kernel is blocked from my IP. :(

Well this is nice and all, but I'm going back to bugless beast until somebody comes up with a flashlight app that works on froyo. It's a very small thing, but not having it really sucks. I use it several times a day now.
I just updated to this leak and B&B DroidLight works fine for me.

Just saw a tweet from Peter Alfonso:
"Successfully made an update.zip that did not break 3G! I can finally get some sleep. Bugless Beast on the way! RT"

Technically if your going to the same version ie. 2.1 to 2.1 or 2.2 to 2.2 you usually don't have to wipe data with either update.zip or nandroid. This is a system dump only no boot image or data so no need to wipe.
