More Froyo

the pre8 you are referring to is no in that list...

Well, I'll be darned - it isn't. Well, I would just start at the top and try them until one works for you.'

Or, I can email you the pre8? I would however consider that the newer versions are better in some way. I didn't try them first because I already had Pre8 on my sdcard (lazy!). But let me know if you my copy.

Good luck.

Flash Beta 2 is somewhat smoother and less buggy (tested Engadget videos, which were almost unplayable with Beta 1)...

but there's still no hardware acceleration

anyone else having major battery issue

I went from the first leak to petes BBv0.1 on one of my phones went to bed at like 7:30am this morning cause the battery was almost dead, had been tweaking it all night pretty much,
woke to the phone in my dock bootlooping. It would boot all the way in and load the pink floyd dock im running as my deskclock and like 30 seconds later would act like the battery is totally dead and reboot.

Please tell me there is a fix, I tried thutting it off manually to get it to charge off, but its looking like I need an external charger and ossible a second battery, at this point anyways ? :(

sucks cause I thought the incredible was the one with bad battery so I just got 2 extra battery's and external charger for it :( Now it looks as though I should have gotten it for the moto droid.

My other phone running the original leaked verison is still working fine on p3's 1.2 kernal. same kernal I put on petes since I got good battery life out of it on the original leaked one :(

Hope someone has an idea for me to try cause when I was using it this morning this release is so fast :(

Should I install thief new version of flash. What's the word so far? Is it better?

Each release should be better than the last, so yes, you should install it. I just did and things seem to be a little smoother. I don't think we'll see a huge improvement until they enable hardware acceleration. Once that happens, it will probably come out of beta.

New flash works fine. Can someone tell me since I'm not good with this sort of thing, what the hardware acceleration is that will be in later flash installations?

Typically Hardware Accelleration here would be custom versions built to specifically take advantage of the proc and gpu (if any) available on that platform... currently the rason we are ablt to run the N1 Flash version is that it's generic and not optimized specific to the platform...
