Motorola Droid Case Reviews

Ok. This may sounds a little weird but I found a pretty effective way to stretch out the waterfield case if you don't want to have to struggle to get your phone in and out of the case to use it (for use with a seidio case).

While stretching it, you could just keep the phone with the Seidio case on in the waterfield to stretch it but it becomes a pain while it is still tight to remove the phone from the waterfield suede jacket, especially if you use your phone very often during the day like I do.

Well when I came home from work I took my phone out of the waterfield jacket because I knew at this point I'd probably be using my phone more often and I didn't feel like struggling with it. This is when I noticed (here is the weird part) my deodorant is roughly the same size if not a tad bigger than my Droid with the Seidio case on it.

I then stretched the waterfield jacket over my deodorant until it covered the entire thing, and left it there for a few hours. When I removed it (be careful because the deodorant cap will come off, though I used an unopened deodorant so I didn't mess up the suede) I found that the Droid with the Seidio case on it slid in easier, almost perfectly. I figure since I am going out now I'll keep my phone in the waterfield, but when I get home I'll stretch it again over the deodorant and leave it there until the morning.

I figure by then it should be a pretty decent fit.

disclaimer: I take no responsibility if you get white deodorant on your suede jacket or if you tear your it in the process lol. The material is very strong though and it seemed to stretch without any hint or worry of tearing.

Thanks for the info about the case stretching out to accommodate the Seidio.

I'm looking for an affordable flip-style flap case like the Noreve, with the click-in holders. My biggest concern with Noreve is that there's no hole to see the notification light. Anything out there like this? I'm not interested in flip cases that use plastic over the keyboard or leather bits covering any part of the screen. And I can't afford Vaja or Pia at this point.

I ordered this two days ago and still hoping it will arrive asap, then i can take some pics for you guys to see.

My friend has one, played with it for a while, and it's quite nice, i can see the notification light even when inside the case.

PDair Leather Case for Motorola Droid - Horizontal Pouch Type (Black) by PDair - PDair.com

fits my needs, hope you like it too.:)

I admittedly didn't read all thirteen pages of resposnes. But I like the iPod socks. Quick and easy to put in and take out for use with car dock or media dock.

I found the belt holster I got for my BB storm supports my droid very well. Oddly enough, the Full face digital clock appears when holstered!

No problem. It actually worked well. The waterfield suede jacket now fits my Droid with the Seidio Innocase on it perfectly.

the money clip on my wallet has a magnet, i took my phone out at the gas station and I saw the multimedia dock in the taskbar for a few seconds lol

I got the Snap-On case from VerizonWireless online recently. I dont know if its been already discussed and Ill be honest, Im not trying to go through all 48 pages for it. I grabbed the Snap-On case and it seems good enough. I have a few problems with it.

1) Its murder to take off. Say I have to do a Battery Pull which occasionally I have to. The thing seems stuck on so tight that it just doesnt want to come off. I remember I struggled with it, kept trying to snap it off and pulling on it until I actually heard the phone itself seeming to crack. I stopped that exact moment and tried a different angle. Eventually I found the right one and snapped it off but man it was hard. Not to mention many times I found myself almost pulling off the fake leather part of it, the actual covering on the case. Now that is all loose and man thats annoying.
2) Drop it and it snaps off. I accidentally dropped it whilst doing work in my Storage room and it hit the concrete. Both sides snapped off, the bottom and screen. I couldnt believe it then and still dont.

Overall, it does the job for the time being and I like it but man its a pain when you have to do a battery pull.

So I read about 20 pages or so starting from the end of the thread. I have a few stupid questions:

1. Do either the Sena or Waterfield vertical pouch cases have a belt clip?

2. What is the general consensus for the best vertical pouch case with a belt clip (and no flaps)? The PDair leather vertical case?

Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks.

I bought the rubberized plastic case from accessorygeeks.com and it sucked. The front faceplate would not stay on after 2 days of using it. My friend bought the rubber case from a Verizon store and loves it. I checked it out and its pretty nice. It's not too thick and has a nice feel to it.
