NO front facing camera? well thats a load of horse crap. Why wouldnt they put one on it? I mean, front facing cameras are going to be the "new" thing, so i figured for them to stay competitive they would include it..... gay
I don't care about a front facing camera.....I told my wife today this in my next phone.....i've grown to envious of her X :frown:
Why would they have any incentive to release a phone with an open boot loader? People are buying up the Xs so fast they can barely keep them on the shelves. If they're selling phones like hot cakes, then it doesn't matter how much people complain or how loudly. Their sales figures are what they're looking at, until those are affected, ie, by not buying locked phones, they have no lesson to learn.
The specs on this phone are definitely at the top of the game, and I desperately want it to have an open boot loader, but if its locked, then I'll pass on it as well.
Yea I guess you're right... just wish they would confirm or deny the new alleged specs or just say something to let us know they are still alive haha
In the next couple of weeks expect them to start dropping more info about the device.

I can promise you this. These guys have been 99.9% accurate with all the leaked info they share. Whats the .1% you ask? No idea I haven't seen it yet : )
so, are you saying that there's still a fairly good chance that the specs from the OP may still be viable?? i don't really care about the ff camera, but i was a little discouraged by the rumors of "only" a 1.3 ghz single processor, as compared to a dual core processor.

Ok if this phone doesn't have everything smartphones have up to date and a 2GHz cpu... I'm sticking with my Moto Droid.

I agree. I was looking forward to a 4.3" 2Ghz Droid, with Physical Keyboard and front facing camera.
i'm betting the answer is, "always"!

Yeah same here...I don't know whether to get this phone or not. My upgrade is in January so maybe by then there will be info on new/better phones than the Droid Pro?

I am due for my New Every Two next month. I don't plan on using it unless this next Droid kicks @$$ with the features I mentioned previously.
