What about the DX?
Correction: Verizon does not have any nice high end phones that 'you' like. The last time I checked, the Droid 2, Droid X, DINC, and Fascinate were all worthy phones suited for different crowds.
I really do not like the motoblur skin. And every DX I have used is buggy and laggy compared to the Droid Incredible or EVO 4G. Also - I really don't like the form factor of the DX. I don't like the bump up on the back where the camera/flash is.
As for the DINC - it is about to be replaced and has a smaller screen?! Why would I buy one now? And the D2 - I do not like sliding keyboards. And the Fascinate just feels too plasticky to me - not to mention all the issues that it has had with GPS.
At the end of the day what I really want is something like the EVO but on Verizon. My contract is up in a few weeks - so if Verizon doesn't have something released or about to be released (i.e. officially announced) then I will leave Verizon.
I see your point about all of the phones, my only concerns with getting the EVO are its age as a smartphone, will there an EVO HD for sprint in the near future and the coverage in my area is not as good as Verizon's.
I myself like the build quality and weight of the Moto Droid, the form factor of the DInc, and the screen size of the DX. It appears to me that The HTC Incredible HD puts all of those into one phone, and is superior or at least equal to the EVO in every way except the 4g speeds.
This has been the phone I am waiting for and to be honest if they dropped a 3G model of the EVO on Verizon, that matched the Sprint one, I would upgrade tomorrow. I am so looking forward to Miami's info...........
