Well for one, I believe Android doesn't support Ad-Hoc connections. So things like Xbox 360s and PS3 wouldn't be able to use it, so you probably would still have to have a home service. Another thing is, Verizon will most likely cap it so no unlimited and you're going to be paying extra for 4G even if you don't have it and wont for a while. So yea, it probably is smarter not to waste your money on a LTE phone just yet.

Yes it does support ad-hoc connects. I have connected to my laptop and xbox. And if you go over 5 gbs they will look at you...but they really don't do anything. Now if you go to like 10gbs then youll be really looked at. VZW will be watching you LOL.

It does support it? I always tried to connect my Droid to my 360, but no success. Is there a certain app, or am I doing it wrong?

you need to type in the info on the 360 manually just google how to do it

yes, that would work^

I hope the DincHD doesn't end up with the same problems as the htc trophy. Bubbles under screen and memory issues.

More HTC 7 Trophy troubles–now screen has bubbles

It was probably rushed. I mean, HTC made 5-6 WP7 devices and had to make them at a certain time. So I'm not surprised theirs at least one with these issues. I don't think theres much reason to worry about the IncHD having issues like that, probably some software issues, but nothing that wouldn't get fixed.

I work for BMW.... Lets make a trade.

funny but if you work for BMWNA then you can locate me easily. Since I am a parts Director for a BMW dealership in my day job, also VW and Porsche

Hello Miami, then is it possible for me to order few parts for my 2000 328i at a fellow Droid discount? haha

I've been monitoring this site for a while, finally I decided today to get a username and participate. I've had a POS phone for a while and finally my contract with AT&T expires at the end of Nov so definitely looking forward to this... woot! dancedroid:icon_ banana:

Sure send me your info and whats needed to [email protected] and we'll take care of it

What happens if you go over the 5gb quota?

There is no 5 GB Quota on Verizon.

With that being said, it's not good to create a Red Flag in my opinion and Tether recklessly.

I used netflix for a month like every day(just moved in and no TV) and verizon called me and asked what I was using it for and to warn me that you shouldn't exploit the system and such. More or less it was silly and I didnt change my habits but never heard anything more.

So 10 dollars a month will keep you using a much slower internet connection? Using dial-up at home would save you even more!

If you spend that extra 10 dollars on 4g and then 20 on wifi ap, you ger super fast home internet for cheaper than you pay now, and super fast internet on your phone....

30 bucks extra saves you 50 off of your home service, that ends up saving you money....

The android devices with Wifi hotspot as an official 20 dollar add-on do support Ad-Hoc... so yes, you'd still save $$$ over home service.
