So i'm confused. Is ROM the same as Internal Memory?

Because the Desire HD has 512 ROM. I thought the DROID X had about 8 GB? Why the step back? Or are these different things.


I want at least 1 GB of app storage or more. I am a MAJOR app whore and I need the space! Tell me the 512 ROM is for something else.

Chances are that since the desire HD has 8mb of ROM(for application storage) this will have the same. It just makes sense. Plus the micro SD which I'm guessing will also be 8mb so a total storage coapacity of 16mb. And half of that is removable/upgradeable.

I've been researching the crap out of the VZW line up as my upgrade is up 11/10. I'm going to have to fight off buying anything in the current line up, which is really hard considering my current phone is well....

Twas fun though, and I can't wait for this phone to come out, even if I don't like it, it should probably bring down the price of the Droid X right?

Yes, it is wrong. Its actually MUCH better and MUCH faster.

i would suspect a 1.2 GHZ processor cuz the droid 2 world edition is said to have one i dont thinks htc will be outdone in the GHZ department if the D2 roumer has been confirmed i havnt been following it

I never said they were correct. I said these are the supposed specs but I never said they were correct. I've already stated I found an error with just the processor alone.

I would assume so. I think the Phones announced AFTER January, the Dual Cores, LTE, those may have higher prices.
