Been lurking on the forum for a few weeks now, hello all. Can't wait to get this phone and dump my Storm 2. Annual upgrade date is the 23rd, so I'm hoping to see if that's truely the release date so I can tell work I'll be a few hours late that day. I'm thinking about picking up that Live View watch too, just waiting for some reviews on it.

WOW chuck! Very impressive spec there you have there. If you dont mind me asking where di you get it?

Just called gazelle. My box is on the way!!dancedroid
Just a combination of the Deesire HD and infor on the Incredible HD. I am betting it is black and red like the Incredible as well with red accents. I am now getting a picture in my head, wish I had photoshop and I would play around coloring the phone to match the pics of the phone to match the DInc and would probably be close to what we are getting.

It won't be the 8255 more like the 8655 which supports cdma

Or wouldn't it be great if it was:

MSM8660 for multi-mode HSPA+/CDMA2000® 1xEV-DO Rev. B feature two enhanced CPU cores running at up to 1.2GHz for high levels of Web application and multimedia performance, including a powerful GPU with 3D/2D acceleration engines for Open GLES 2.0 and Open VG 1.1 accelration, 1080p video encode/decode, dedicated low power audio engine, integrated low power GPS, and support for 24-bit WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution displays.

Yes. I would be OK with this.

All this talk is killing me! Who do I need to bribe to get this phone Right NOW?

Actually, gonna need that money to buy the phone. And possibly bribe my wife into giving me permission to spend the money on an early upgrade.

I've been stockpiling accessories for my DROID 1 all year to help pay for my Upgrade (to this?). Selling the phone WITH Multimedia dock, Car dock, spare battery, screen protector (Invisible Sheild unused), car charger, USB cable. I hope the DINC HD cost me ZERO in the end!

Reading through 53 pages last night was like reading a novel. It had suspense, some brief let down, and then a happy happy ending. It caused me to register just so i can join in on the hype.
My bb storm died completely a few days ago and I have been in the stone age without a phone. My plan is to go get the x today, enjoy it for a few weeks and then pay the $35 restocking fee. basically renting the x for 3-4 weeks until the dinc hd comes out. sound like a good plan?

Yup. I'd do that, too if my phone died on me.

So i'm confused. Is ROM the same as Internal Memory?

Because the Desire HD has 512 ROM. I thought the DROID X had about 8 GB? Why the step back? Or are these different things.

I want at least 1 GB of app storage or more. I am a MAJOR app whore and I need the space! Tell me the 512 ROM is for something else.

regular incredible had 8GB i believe so i dont imagine this having less than that..

If you wantto rent a phone until it comes out, how about getting the DInc.... Then when you get the DInc HD you won't be switching from Motoblur to Sense.......

By the way I am so excited about this phone I probably won't root it......at least for a little while :)
