Just got off with a member from the HTC Support Hotline 866-449-8358 and he said he has never heard of the HTC Incredible HD and he even googled it so he could see what I was talking about and said that was the 1st he has ever heard of or seen the device. He said his supervisor may know more about it and put me on hold only to come back and say nope. He also said they usually get their hands on devices weeks to months in advance and so having some launch in 17 days does not seem realistic to him. I then asked about the Merge and he said the same thing about that device.....so I guess take it with a grain of salt. I can not wait for someone to say, "Oh the HTC Inc HD, that is a great phone and it is in our system and you can pre-order it today". The rep did say that it was a nice kickstand and looked like a nice looking phone from what he saw on Google. UGHHHHHHHHHHH

The release of this phone is supposed to be kept secret so why would anyone just give you confidential info on it. They are told to KEEP QUIET so Verizon can sell more Incredibles before the release. Thats the point of keeping this leak under wraps.
I agree with H4, if VZW is trying to clear the Incredible out of their inventory, they probably have an NDA with HTC to make sure no one releases any early info.
Exactly. Only Store Managers and top levels VZW Executives probably know about this phone (who Miami is talking to) and they will keep it that way till they are happy with the amount of Incredibles they have liquidated.

Good to know. I will make sure to check in later this evening...but won't expect much until Monday.
The good thing is that while there has been much up and down in terms of our excitement and expectation...we are now really close to the estimated release date of the 23rd...so this discussing on the forums has passed the time...if nothing else.

It is funny that you ask. I do love the new CTS Coupe...very nice. My car is in perfect condition...a black on black 2005 with the 3.6L V6 and the six speed manual transmission but just barely 48,000 miles. Not bad for a 2005. It is paid for...so not planning on getting rid of it any time soon. We are in the market for a new car...for my wife. Nothing to get too excited about...a 2011 Honda Odyssey EX-L. Cost more than my car! Man these vans are expensive. I guess if she can get a tricked out van I can get a cool new phone!

Have you seen teh pics of the new 2011 Charger???? All I have to say is :icon_eek:... We have almost the same engine. I have a V6 and I know Chevy used the CTS engine for the new Camaros. I love this thing. How the H*ll do you keep the mileage so low???? My car is a little over 1 year and is over 20k already.... Have you seen a youtube video of a guy in a van smoking a Corvette and a few other sports cars. It had a turbo of course lol, just an idea for the Honda!
I can't wait to hook my DincHD into my stereo system. The windshield is so shallow that i don't think I will have room to mount this monster on my dash.

They're killing us. Of course, I raised that same question a few pages ago. Personally, I smell an LTE device. The question is when.
Really the only thing that makes sense. VZW supposedly ramping up call centers. VZW with what looks to be a desperate mad scramble to unload inventory of phones that have only been out a few months.
VZW originally said LTE devices "by 1H 2011", a promise they likely intended to overdeliver on. But who's to say HTC didn't really get their act together to better VZW's real internal target by several months? The first LTE device on VZW is going to see ridiculous sales numbers, so the incentive was definitely there.
Oh god.... I really hope not. I want 3g.

It makes sense for htc to release an lte device, but everythin we've heard up to now says it will be 3g only. But you never know, especially if this is from a trusted source who has seen the device. Let's see what Miami says to this, maybe in the chat later.
