New Apps from 2.1

I download music one from my droid but it will not install from astro. What am i doing wrong?

The 1a version of Launcher works flawlessly for me. 12 hours so far and not one single FC. And it's fast!

How can I tell what version I have? The one I'm using is being a real pain in the ass lol it looks nice but I keep getting FCs and freezes and it has restarted my droid on me once so far.

The 1.2 launcher should fix cache issues...

Not a large difference overall on the clock...

How do you uninstall the new gallery if you don't like it? I don't want to uninstall the old one until I know this one works and is stable.

The new gallery is just plain awsome! I'm running the 2.1 home and it is a little buggy, slow to load some times and a couple force closed, but it's worth it.

The biggest changes in the clock are the dimm modes, previous clock the dim was not so dimm at night and the text was hard to read. Now there are 2 dimm modes 1 by clicking the dimm button, and 1 by holding down the dimm button. It's just an installable app, intall it and see for yourself. If you don't like it just unistall.

Maybe I missed something or I am just not patient enough to go through 18 pages of posts, but what do the News and Launcher apps do? Or could you point me to the appropriate topic.

The 2.1 Gallery is Amazing I love it. It was so funny I was laying down adn was wonderign why the gallery slopped to the left and I googled some things about and found out it uses the accelo lol I was like oh I had the phone tilted lol

The News and Weather widget is a new widget that you can add to your homescreen. It will show you the weather, allow you to see what the weather will be like later in the day, see forecasts etc. The News part shows news based on the categories that you choose. You can also put in custom keywords to find news by. Like mine has an "Android" category.

The Launcher is a home replacement. It now has 5 screens, a 3d app drawer, and a "screen switcher" function.

Also with the News and Weather app, you can view a graph of the temperature and humidity changes over the past one day. Kinda nifty.

The 2.1 launcher occasionally acts stupid for me and restarts my phone when I try to open the app drawer LOL

I uninstalled the 2.1 launcher, it was way too buggy for me.
