new bionic ics update 6.7.230

Unable to install 230. I'm getting failed signature verification message. Did I get a bad copy? Do I apply 230 the as the other leaks? Went back to 229 for now. Any help would be appreciated; love to see how 230 runs.

Open the zip up and very likely you'll see the update and a crc file. Unzip the update from it and use that.

Yes. It fixes lapdock and has a new kernel. It's also looking increasingly likely that this will become the OTA.

Glad to hear that the lapdock is working finally. And the new kernel is a good omen for OTA build. Thanks again for your patience and help. :)

I agree for what my opinion is worth. One thing that happened on mine is I was able to uninstall some of the bloatware...but not all. For example I went in to 'disable' Zumocast and hit uninstall and it is now gone. That happened with several bloatware apps. No, they are not hiding at the bottom of the list, they are gone.

Yea, I saw similar behavior in 229. I look at it this way....it doesn't really matter now if we blast them because we can always use my script to get back to stock. Meaning this...let's say 230 does become OTA right? We're all there already so no need to reinstall unless you want to. (We'll verify the OTA version with the leaked one like we did for 905 to ensure it's the same using an MD5 hash, but, let's assume it's the same for sake of argument). We blast a bunch of bloatware in 230...as in nuke it completely. Now we get a JB update (hahaha, come on, stop laughing) at some point and we want to install it. Won't work because we're not stock anymore right? Well, use the script to revert to 902, 905, 230 and bam, back in action. OTA Rootkeeper and/or Super SU Pro might even be able to hold root through the next update. In any case, there's a way back to stock without blasting your apps and data if needs be so we're in a better position. For the paranoid, freeze them with TiBU.
