Wow that's quite outdated. Lol. Download the 3.0 installer and install it. Then install the 1.0 components installer. Done. The 3.0 installer is not linked to on the op of my thread but there's a link in the thread for it. That contains support for 238.

As always I am a day late and a dollar short. I went back and looked at the 902 thread and saw where Samurai had already been talking about it for about a day already. What a noob I can be sometimes.....

Ok i downloaded and inatalled hob 3.0 and the 1.0 components to my laptop. I then took the folders for 235 and 238 out of the hob 3.0 from my laptop and put them on the root of my sd card.

I started the phone in recovery, selected install update from sd card, but i dont see anything saying REINSTALL 238. Did i miss a step?

Oh dear god. I'm on vacation and not at home else I'd consider helping on this. You did nothing right at all I'm afraid. Please go read my thread... The op and the post where I linked to 3.0 later in the thread. You missed just about everything having to do with the house of Bionic sadly.

Well wasn't complaining per say, just getting a little excited for an actual HUGE OTA overhaul lol! Geez if I only had the time and resources to build roms and whatnot, I think it would be extremely fun and a huge education. Btw, the more I read the more I'm thinking I should stay at .232. I don't quite like the idea of not being able to go backwards as of yet.

Yes most people should stick with 232 until ota.

Install 3.0 house of bionic
Install 1.0 components

Run HouseOfBionic batch file
If you're on 235, you must use the reinstall 238 option NOT the install 238 option. The install option is for 232 or lower.

If on 232 my recommendation is to stay there.

Don't worry, little Racer. I'm a LOT older than u and only over the last couple of years have I started getting a hold on this stuff. U seem smart enuf to be able to wrap ur mind around eventually. Good luck.
