On the last 4 builds I noticed that you will get Launcher FCs if you change the VM Heap size to 24 instead of the default 32. I didn't make the connection until last week's build (12.31). I kind of doubt this is your problem but I thought I would throw that out there.

i was feeling like the tootsie pop owl.

I did, but I wiped. This is the first one (I think) that Jamezelle specifically said to wipe when coming from an older MIUI, so I did.
Thanks! I do not believe I've ever installed a rom without wiping data and cache.

I had to uninstall then reinstall from market...it asked if my phone was rooted, then after reinstalling it said installing binary files.
works fine now.
That was for wireless tether...hopefully that's what you were asking about.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that he was asking about the built-in wireless tether (Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot). I can't test because I don't have a laptop.

Ive been meaning to ask but forgot until now. Does anyone mess with the NICAM settings? There are 4 options. Normal, clear, crisp, and vivid. Mine is always on clear, does anyone use any different settings? Great rom btw
PS i think i asked before and i apologize if this has been answered before but when i install a 1100 kernel, what does it default to if im not using setcpu? And can i change it via the file that used to be in there? Sorry again, i just forgot.

I hadn't tried it, but I just did and I also got the error. Guess it doesn't work!
I have been using 1.1.7.0 for a few days now. I am a Ulitmate Droid user most of the time. However, I must say this rom has done nothing but surprise me. I am using Slahyors 1200 v1.6 kernel. Runs great, very smooth. With this MIUI, I am getting higher quadrant scores (1560) than I could ever got from UD. Haven't run into road blocks. Good stuff.

Yeah i dont think that one has ever worked. I just tried wireless tether with no luck. And just tried barnacle with no luck. Ill reboot and see if anything works
