[New!!!][ROM] D1-MIUI-1.1.7.0

Been running this since last night and everythings working great except global search. At first, it would find nothing and now it'll only search the contacts. Anybody else having this problem? Yes, I've enabled search for other things.

I'm usually a UD user and decided to try this. I have to say that I'm impressed...phone is running pretty damn good. Got a question reference to sounds:

With UD, when I turned down the ringer, it also turned down the notification sound. I noticed that when I turn down the ringer that I have to turn down the notification sounds manually. Is there any way around this?

Thx,
T

That option used to be there, not sure why they removed it. I've been looking for a free app to do this w/o luck. 15 min policy have me scared to try anything paid:icon_evil:

LOL...I hear ya.

Doesn't make sense to have to change it separate from the ringer.

Using this ROM makes me want an iphone. I have to say the iphone has the best UI of all.

You should not have to wait too long!

I had a iPhone and I agree their UI is smooth. When I made the switch to Android, at first, I thought I made a big mistake. However, after a fe days of learning Android I now appreciate it's OS and have no plans to leave. Just my opinion.

i had my first reboot today. i was checking a google email and the screen went black then the phone rebooted. first one in several days.

can lockscreen music controls differentiate between Pandora and miuimusic.apk yet? This is one thing that bugged me about previous versions. I am looking for a reason to come back to MIUI, and I could live with the MMS not working for videos. Or other minor little nuisances if I could at least change the song from the lockscreen...and the controls worked with pandora.

yes there is a setting somewhere to select between sources. i came across it earlier today but can't find it at the moment.

Edit: Found it on system tab Button Settings/ Preferred app. Testing now. Works:)
Edit2: next song works. Pause does not:icon_eek:

well for me, I use my cell as my main house phone as well...so at night I dont want to get woken up by email or SMS notifications. Since its my main line, I also dont want to silence my ringer either for incoming calls, incase of an emergency and I have to be reached.

Thats one of my biggest issue with MIUI is my inability to set notifcation sound to silent, but leave ringer on with a profile app like toggle settings.

In MIUI 1.1.7.0 there are 4 sound settings under settings > personal > sound settings.

Ringtone settings
Call volume
Notifications ringtone
Media Volume

Right now I have my ringtone higher then my notifcations. I got a call today and it was loud and my e-mail/text sound was way lower. From what I can see this is working in the last release of MIUI.

yeah, i know its working...the last couple of builds, the sliding rockers didn't lower notifcation sound levels at all, but now it does.

The problem i see is that once you lower the volume to say 0 (silence) and my app toggle settings activates home profile where the ringer is 8 and the notification volume is 6, the ringer volume will be set properly to 8, but the notification settings stays at 0 until i manually go in and adjust the level to 6
