[New!!!][ROM] D1-MIUI-1.1.7.0

Loaded this new release yesterday I believe and I was using Chevy's low voltage 1.25 kernel and every time I plug the phone in to charge it starts boot looping. I figured it was the kernel so I went to slayher's 1.275 or something similar and it had the same behaviour, so then I wiped data, cache, did a factory reset and reinstalled the ROM and it still had the same behaviour. This is with the stock ROM and with Bliss_SuaveHD Theme by MrDSL.

Does anyone know what may be happening? Sorry if this has already been addressed, but I looked through this entire thread and haven't found anything similar. I really love this ROM and all of the other versions have been decent but this one is completely unusable because instead of charging the phone it just sits and drains my battery.

It seems themes cause a lot of this random reboot/boot loop crap, try running MIUI stock with no theme. I'm pretty sure it will work flawlessly. Also you might want to tone down the kernel, 1.25Ghz/1.275Ghz? Seriously?

What does the setting to enable hi res graphics in the launcher settings actually do? I can't really see a difference other than speed by turning it off.

How do I get rid of global search? I've downloaded google search but can't select it as primary search. I love everything about miui but this new search.

google would have to add an intent reciever to be picked up by the lockscreens messaging button's intent. or someone would have to hack the app

Not very practical though, every subsequent version update would then have to be re-modded. If the changes were made to the lock screen itself then Google Voice updates (few and far between as they may be) would not hinder functionality (He giveth and he taketh away, as it were).

Practical as it can be for hacking an app to do what you want.....

The only other remotely possible attempt would be to have an app run a service that receives the intent from the lockscreen app then calls the intent to the GV sms activity. That I would says is less practical to have in a release as it would run on everyones phones as a service, many of which don't use GV.

The changes to the lockscreen by China-MIUI devs seem to be the least possible in my opinion. It would probably be up to the US developers/porters to make the necessary changes.

Zero is right, your theme is causing your bootloops, try a different theme. MrDSL must have changed the charging animation and your Droid is protesting...

Zero is right, your theme is causing your bootloops, try a different theme. MrDSL must have changed the charging animation and your Droid is protesting...

The Bliss Suave HD theme from 12.24 and older will cause boot loops. Grab the newest version at MIUI-DEV.com and it should work. That's the theme I'm running right now no problems.

Even the regular camera is sucking. It freezes after every picture for like 45 seconds and it will either fc or just close the camera and return me to the home screen.

Will the camera.apk from a non miui Rom work if I pulled and pushed into miui?

I'm posting again about global search. After I type in my search, I have to wait nearly 5 minutes for any results to appear. if I hit next, only contacts are searched quickly. It's very annoying.

Yeah, annoying isn't it? Try toggling silent mode using the notification toggle button, that will affect both ringtone and notification volumes.
