New System app called Absolute System. In need of testers

It looks great. I think I already had ads blocked and when I hit block ads in this app it FC'ed. That's as far as I got this round. I'd like to k ow more about your backup and restore apps. Will it eventually be more like chevyno1's scripts, where it basically removes the need for titanium backup? The app says it doesn't do system apps?

i know you're still working on the goodies downloads folders but when i hit manage individual goodies it FC'ed the 1st time...went right back in and it went right to it. don't know if this is a reaction to having the goodies folder already on my card or not setting up the goodies folder b4 hitting that button or what.

it'd be nice to see a preview of boot animations and LWP some of the file names don't aptly describe what they are. maybe a link to the BA site where most of them are.

the other day i deleted a lot of my sdcard since so much was left behind from stuff i dont use now i had this backup folder and didnt know where it came from. back up works i havent tried a restore yet though.

the text overlap is still there.

the font preview works great nice to be able to see the font.

but come on man could you put out updates a little quicker

Oh and ive run absolute system(not all builds obviously) on pl3x,saphire,cm rc1,ud 3.5(i know but had to try it), it ran the same on all of them no signs of problems between roms.

i notice the size on all of your boot ani's are the same. did you resize them or is that a glitch?

and this is your baby but why not have it set up the goodies folders as soon as you hit manage goodies. i mean if you're going there you're gonna have some goodies, right? i guess you might give a warning. this will set up folders on your sdcard(list of folders): continue or abort?

I dont know about pricing but after you finish this thing you should make it a paid app you have a root explorer type app(paid), back up(titanium)free/paid, bootani (rom)download, etc.
add in a spareparts type thing within the app and it will have more options than most paid aps do. if you find a good server where you can keep boot ani's walpapers and such updated this will be a must have app for everyone. ( it will be like its on rom manager) (its on absolute system)
I hope they continue to be able to root devices so we can continue to do these things.

i think there's a sticky in chevy's topics that cover what all his bkapps and rsapps does but from what i see it's basically a removal of the need for titanium. copies all apps plus data then restores that info once you're on a chevy rom. each rom has a different scripts list so it should only work on his. unless of course someone rips it off. it's all open so i guess as long as he's given credit everyone is happy.

the Droid X was rooted this morning so porting this app to the DX platform would be awesome. my son has one so i could use this app on his to make those things so much simpler once root is applied.
