New Unlimited Plan from Big Red?

I just got off the phone and had a wonderful rep named Peggy. Got the offer which will save me and the fam about 50 or 60 bucks for 5 lines, and now can get the teenager a smartphone without the extra 30 bucks. Thanks to whoever posted this. 877.873.3278 Her extension was 3210. you can try and see if it works, but she did say that it is exclusive to certain areas and you have to extend your contract by a year if you have a contract that is up in a year, but you can keep the new in 2 upgrade. Mine is up in one year and this new plan only extended my contract by 2 days.

how did you go about with entering the extension, when i call it asks to enter my phone # then it directs me to a rep

Dont know if you call the same number or what, she gave her extension because she said it was the marketing department and i was going to order a vehicle mount dancedroid

Just got rejected. They asked if I got an email of the promotion and I said my wife came across it online and forwarded it to me. He asked for the details of the promo and I practically read word for word the OP. He then said it's only for select people who received the email and that he would check both of our lines to see if we got and came up with nothing. I asked what are the requirements for being selected and he said they look at plans to see if people have something similar to the 1400 min plan and I didn't qualify. I think I will be trying again later.

Cool lady answered after 5 minutes on hold. Told her I got word through the forum, so she said she would check my account and see if it would benefit me. I saved a whole $8, cool! Now all my phones have unlimited data, and I keep my 22% employee discount. :icon_ banana:

so i just did this. amazing...i could save around $40-60/mo for my 3 lines. now the bad thing is that i can't renew for another phone for another year. but i think it's worth it. what's weird is that the vzw said each extra line is $9.99 not $19.99. i'm pretty sure she made a mistake on that one so we'll see if my bill is truly based off the $9.99. but then again the $140/mo plan is for two lines. The $10 shouldn't make that big of a difference.

managed to get this to work after my 3rd try. i currently have 4 lines. 2 of them have blackberry plans and use texting the other 2 are just plain phone lines, i end up paying $7 more a month after my corporate discount and get double the minutes, and am elegible for 3 upgrades so might as get my parents a smartphone since its included.

Currently:
1400 minutes, unlimited text, M2M - $110.00 + $9.99 (extra line)
DX w/unlimited data - $29.99
DX w/unlimited data - $29.99

Which equals...

$119.99 + $29.99 + $29.99 = $179.97

According to the OP...

I can get what I have now for $139.99. That's 40 bucks a month!

I am only 3 months into my 2 year contract.. Got both DX's in August.

I called before reading the whole thread. I was refused but it kind of pissed me off (So other people are allowed to save money but I'm not) so I asked for a supervisor and few minutes later they approved it.

I'm in California.

Awesome! I had this exact same plan, and was paying $80 with my discount. Just switched to this, and the rep told me I'll only be paying around $58/mo. Outstanding.

I notice they also charged me $10 for each extra line.

SO I went from

$120 for the plan
9.99 for one line + $30 data
19.99 for two lines for ENV Touch Data plan
TOTAL = $200

to $110 for the plan + 3 lines at $10 per month = TOTAL $140.

Pretty amazing change really. I swear the $10 add on is a mistake.

Has anyone gotten a confirmation text from VZW that shows the change to your account yet? I was switched over a few hours ago but haven't gotten the usual follow-up from Big Red.
