I think you are confusing what we're talking about. The phones are not going to be available at the store today, we are just waiting on the rumored possibility of an announcement from Verizon of an official release date (3/10) that supposedly will occur in about an hour from now, at 11(Eastern)/10(Central). (It is 9:06 Central right now)

what's all this talk about 10am...11am...news coming? why would someone announce news about news coming??? until there is actual news out of Verizon, let's stick to talking about what we do know.

It comes from completely unsubstantiated rumors by some guy named Ben at another forum claiming 11am would have an announcement regarding the TB's release. The only reason this has any weight to it is because BGR is claiming they have big news. But it's nothing more than wild rumors and reckless speculation, which is our specialty.
