what's all this talk about 10am...11am...news coming? why would someone announce news about news coming??? until there is actual news out of Verizon, let's stick to talking about what we do know.

It comes from completely unsubstantiated rumors by some guy named Ben at another forum claiming 11am would have an announcement regarding the TB's release. The only reason this has any weight to it is because BGR is claiming they have big news. But it's nothing more than wild rumors and reckless speculation, which is our specialty.

all best buy cares about is selling the phone. They have no insider information that is of importance. Any news regarding the release of the blunderbolt will obviously be retrieved from your local tech news sights first. The boys in blue are usually the last to know anyways, as they are a secondary retailer.

After thinking about it for a couple of minutes. Why waste the gas to go there unless you need something else. They are just announcing it for next week. Not like they are going to have any there.

If this is the monstah news he was talking about, this is a huge letdown. There could still be something different in the next hour or two though, and he may not even have been referring to the information we are waiting for in the first place.

I think through the course of this we can assume several things:

1) Best Buy knows nothing about anything
2) Reps that work in the Verizon store know about the same
3) The Thunderbolt was supposed to released on 2/10 but Thor was too busy filming movies instead of making phones.

Here's to hoping today's news is good news.
