Maybe I should send in my bill and write "coming soon" on the check... The Atrix is looking very good right now!

Another week cruised by without the HTC Thunderbolt, but that hasn’t stopped Best Buy from printing it over and over again in their weekly ads. The latest gossip on Verizon’s first 4G LTE phone suggests that HTC is becoming a little irritated with Big Red over all of these apparent delays and has even threatened to pu...ll all of their ads if the phone isn’t announced today! Oh no! We still have no idea what the real cause for them to keep missing rumored dates is, but it doesn’t even matter at this point. If the phone finally pops up, someone please let us know.

And yeah, $299 still being printed as the contract price.

lol!!!

hahaha yeah I saw that post too. Quote of the week imo :D :D

Comment about only 3g on 4g phones made no sense. It made me:icon_ cry:.

Skype functionality whether on 4G or Wifi is not working on demo phones so I doubt it will work out of the box. Video calling, as stated above, is only available through 4G and Wifi due to the speed (just like any other phone that isn't an ingredient in a fruitcake...)

Also, I've been a loyal VZW customer for 11 years, but I gotta say that if you have strong AT&T service in your area (which obviously not all people do), they are looking like the much better choice right now. ATT has iPhone, Atrix, and Inspire. VZW has iphone and a ton of devices end-of-lifing at the end of the month. What up VZW? Better get on that.

The other thing that is interesting that Verizon told me is that the front facing camera is only for 4g service, and if you want it, will be $50 a month ($29.99 3g + $19.99 4g). However, you can get only 3g service on a 4g phone. The front facing camera will not work on 3g service...
Unlocked boot loader, hmmm let's see our awesome dev community will have this fixed before launch day is over! You know "launch day" the second Thursday of next week....

ATT has a fruit, a dual core gimped by Motoblur, and a nerfed Thunderbolt

Haha, that's funny. I totally agree, but at the same time, we don't have anything that can compete with those last 2 devices yet. X is good, but not great with what's coming. Fascinate? (lol, no thanks). Inc? Too old. And BTW, I'm not threatening to jump ship, I was just making a point and expressing frustration.

So I bet you all remember this tweet "Many have waited for the Verizon #iPhone. Some looking for the #4G #LTE HTC #Thunderbolt. May be sooner than we expected!" -@verizon wireless. What ever happened to that? I'm so sick of verizon, apple, and best buy toting with us! The consumers true friend is htc whose threatening verizon. Gah we all just want a new Phone so just release it! ... Ahh I feel better now. So no press release today either?

P.s. my iPod touch' s front face camera works regardless of any 3G/4G network or wifi ... Just saying. You're digital camera doesn't need a network to use it.

I still find it hard to believe that the issues could be that big, the EVO has been out how long? Running on sprints CDMA 4G network, I really don't think HTC dropped the ball on this one, if anything Big Reds network is not ready for prime time!

I know. I'm just saying. Those are pretty terrible phones in my opinion. In a test of Atrix vs Inspire, the Inspire is almost as fast and doesn't have many laggy moments like the Atrix. And well... Atrix is to Thunderbolt as Bionic is to Inspire.
